So Zero might be after that?

How would that be different than Genji? Always dashing around, attacking with his sword, constantly getting killed...

Amoebic, Marsh, Stay and I last game from last night. A 10m steady slog through Junkertown until the innards where Stay says at the end go DPS I will Ana. He shot and shot me with his Ana and stuff died with teamwork.

Ok, enough teasing...

Stop what you’re doing and go watch Medmey’s video now. The song choice and choreography is P E R F E C T. This was so fun to watch and listen to, hats off sir!

I didn’t realize it at the time, but you absolutely melted that Bob.

FYI there's now another exciting way to get league tokens that I haven't looked at because it doesn't apply to where I live.

So, basically introducing a daily fantasy sports system. Color me unexcited.

It looked to me like a gacha where people who follow OWL have a higher chance of winning. But Japan doesn't exist for Blizzard and never has, so..

Sigma is fun, here's some stuff I figured out from playing on the PTR. I shared on discord, but figured I'd also share here. He has a shield, an ability that turns projectiles into shield, and a projectile/stun, you can kill him after his ult is activated, but you'll still be affected by it, unless you move out of the affected zone. Moira, Sombra and Reaper will probably have the easiest time getting out his shield can be put in front of him by holding down right click (or whatever you moved that ability to) and it will extend further based on how long you hold the button. It stays there until it dies or you recover it. while it is active it cannot recharge, but as soon as it's put away it'll start recharging his main attack richocets like moira orbs and deal a fair amount of AOE damage not sure the exact number though. It seems the projectile to shield ability is based on how much damage the projectile deals, seems to follow the same rules as D.va's shielding ability or Bap's projectile boost. He is pretty intuitive to me, and I think his abilities are very similar in execution to Moira/zarya/sym in that his abilities seems to be based more on AOE in the direction you're facing. His damage abilities seem very similar in aiming aspects to Moira's orbs, though there seems to be a slight curve on his big ball o'hurt.

Sigma is slow. Like watching paint dry slow. Most heroes move at 5.5 meters per second but I'd be surprised if his is even 5. I was on the PTR and went rein. Stood behind all the other sigmas (there were 5) and passed them all before we got halfway to the point. Hopefully that's a bug and he's got normal movement speed.

The way his shield deploys and redeploys is interesting, kind of a midway point between Rein's "it goes wherever you go, deploys in a snap" more flexible play style and Orisa's all-in, "this takes a second to throw down and is staying put until your cooldown is up" style.

Hard to tell how good his ult is until people are more used to dealing with it. Could be a team-fight-winner like Earthshatter or it could be a death sentence for the user like Pharah's Barrage.

He's definitely very slow, and his offensive abilities feel a little anemic, but he's certainly tank-y, so it might all balance out.

I'm happy that we're getting another main "everybody get behind him and push" shield tank.

He's as fast as other normal characters.

Your Overwatch did some testing on what exactly his shift ability can suck:

I can see why they've been nerfing Defense Matrix just lately: have both this and that on the field at the same time would be extremely oppressive. I'm sorry, Zarya, but that grav you've been spending all match building? NOM NOM NOM.

Finally got around to uploading some clips from recent matches so I thought that I would share.

My favorite clip from a game last night. You can see the exact moment where I think that I wasted my ult because everyone on the opposite team appeared to already be dead.

One of the best defensive uses of Moira's ult I have ever pulled off.

Been playing a lot of Sombra lately and this was one of my best EMPs.

And this one mostly because BH told me to name it Zarya Assist.

Does shooting Sigma in his bare, unarmored feet do any extra damage?

Junkrat trap does double damage.

I still think Junkrat's trap shouldn't trigger on floating characters.

As it is, it doesn't capture genji enough when dashing.

But then that would be logical and by Blizzards standards can't apply to Overwatch.

And why can you shoot it before it traps you but not after?

Things that hurt their own characters in Overwatch: Rockets, Zarya Alternare Fire, Sigma Orbs, Micro Soldier Rockets

Things that do not hurt their own characters in Overwatch: Grenades, Concussion Mines

Junkrat is just special

But if Genji deflects a Junkrat nade/mine then it will hurt Junkrat. So maybe Genji is more special, or at least his sword is.

First experience with role queue and Sigma on the PTR last night was a very good one.

I'm having a rough PTR run :D. Won precisely one of my placements in each role so far through support and DPS, placing abysmally. Especially now with Sigma it feels even worse. Including the guy who threw as Hammond by swinging around in a circle away from the fight for the match because the other tank wouldn't "give him Sigma".

I placed within 50 SR on each class. I did, however, complete my placements before Sigma came out (last week when it was the only thing you could do). Had several throwers as well but it's PTR so what are you gonna do.

No system is perfect, but I wonder what term the Rank throwers will be coined as, similar to smurfs.

I'll say it now (for me): PTR OW is much more fun than regular OW. It really isn't close to me. The Role queue and hero changes are just a huge improvement.

I'm going to miss my stupid overpowered Brig. She was even worse when she was first released.

When she was first released I one tricked her (as much as I could) and, after sitting in high gold for a while got almost to diamond. After that season ended I stopped and went back to filling (and dropped back to gold). I miss those OP OTP Brig days (even though every team had a Brig). I actually feel great about her changes. I do hope they revert the huge nerf to her healing though.
