Video Game Deals Catch-All

Thats....pretty awesome.

No, that's extra. Also the pepperoni is paid DLC

I'd buy it. Hope it's successful and Domino's starts doing promos like that in the US.

They've had videogame deals a few times. I'm pretty sure there was a promotion with the previous expansion. I also vaguely remember them including codes for a bunch of those "last year's hotness" $20 PC games ages ago. It's not common to see, but it's not a huge surprise when they do it either.

I didn't bite last time, but I've been thinking a lot about FFXIV lately and this hit me at just when I was missing the game the most.

Pretty sure you could order pizza through EQ or EQ2 back in the day.

I hear the "indulgent crusts" side quest is well-scripted with a lot of depth.

It'll probably be included for free in the eventual director's cut.

I debated fixing that for you, but given the level of discourse in this thread it didn't seem overly cheesy.

C'mon now, you can't just pass that up.

Will it have Hawaiian horse armor?

If for some bizarre reason you don't already own it....

Torchlight is free on Epic game store right now.

For Nintendo Online members, I just stumbled across this:

Nintendo Game Vouchers:

  • Buy two vouchers for $99+tax
  • Each voucher can be redeemed for a full-price Nintendo game (i.e. $60 game)
  • Vouchers expire after a year
  • List of eligible games includes most of the big hitters, both released and upcoming.

Between Fire Emblem, Links Awakening and Pokemon alone, there's plenty of scope to leverage these in the next few months. The Nintendo Online membership basically pays for itself if you use this once.

Maybe I messed up the math but that seems to be $20 off. Which is pretty easy to find across two games anyway.
I guess I am missing the good part of this.

Nope, it's 20 bucks off total, or 10 dollars a game. The nice part is that it works for digital versions, and there isn't a restriction on using it for pre-loads. I grabbed a set of vouchers with Mario Maker 2 and used the other one for Marvel Ultimate Alliance 3. Both are loaded on my Switch, but I can't play MUA3 until next week.

Yeah, it only really makes sense if you're planning on buying upcoming games Day1 (or close to). In which case, you'll save yourself $10 on each. It's effectively a pre-order discount.

Cos you're right that using them on older games is missing the point that you can probably find those older games for < $60.

I've gone in on it for Fire Emblem and either Link's Awakening or Pokemon

I combined it with a holiday deal on Nintendo cards, ended up getting 2 vouchers for $45 each. Already used one for Mario Maker 2.

Or if you got the twitch prime free Nintendo online then it's an even better deal.

I am definitely using one for fire emblem because 1st party stuff takes forever to go on sale.

I'm hesitant with Marvel because it could be $40 in 2 months. Might save the voucher or cave after good reviews. We'll see.

Have to buy the vouchers by July 31, but they've already announced games through the end of the year, including new Pokemon. If they announced animal crossing I might get one to save for that too

I used the vouchers with Mario Maker 2 and Fire Emblem. I wanted them both digitally and I know it will be FOREVER before either goes below $60 digitally.

To celebrate the upcoming Age of Wonders: Planetfall on August 6th, Age of Wonders 3 is free on Steam til July 15th.

Once again, I am embarrassed at my pile. Because I logged in to claim that offer, and found that I already owned it.

sh*t, me too. Must have been free before or in a bundle

This is why I shouldn't buy games unless I'm ready to play them.

But it is free so I have to get it, even if I am not sure I ever will play it.

I'm disgusted with the whole lot of you!

Triumph really should include both expansions in the base game at this point; folks who just want to try the vanilla version are missing out on its best aspects.

Wasn't it free on Humble not too long ago?

Yep i got it there like 3 weeks ago.... haven't even been installed... but free is free and to the pile...

CE of Etrian Odyssey Nexus is $24 on Amazon. Nothing special in it but it is cheaper than the regular edition. Also it will be the last Etrian Odyssey game on the 3DS.

Nioh (PS4) is $10. Haven't played it but heard it was good.

Spider Man is $20 for Prime Day. If you don't have it yet, for that cheap you have to try it.

Amazon has a year of PS+ for $39.99 for Prime Day
