Hey, has anyone else just had half their Epic library disappear?

I logged into the Epic launcher to get my freebies and found that there were only nine games in it, and Fortnite wasn't one of them.

I'm not too torn up about it, since Fortnite was the only one I'd actually spent money on, but the Save the World mode wasn't an insignificant amount of money, and it's just gone.

I've emailed support but I'm not optimistic.

Just checked and I have three games missing.

Yowza. Just adding anecdata, my library seems unchanged. Never spent any money, but I think I have all the freebies.

This sounds like the opposite of a game deal. If only there was a place where we could discuss all things Epic.

Anyway. No issues here, at least nothing noticeable. Paid games are there, and, at a glance, all of the free ones as well. Good luck!

Correction, no games missing. They were just going from my purchase history but they were still in my library.

That jives with what I'm seeing on my list. Purchased game there along with all the freebies I remember, but only some of the freebies are listed in Payment History.

Just an update, and I won’t derail the thread further:

Epic tech support said they knew “exactly” what the problem is, and sent me an email for me verify my account actually belonged to me, which I did. That was the last I’ve heard from them.

I’m pretty sure it wasn’t a phishing scam, but I changed my password anyway.

Kingdom Come: Deliverance and Surviving Mars are the two early unlocks for the next Humble Monthly.

I finally caved and subbed for a month, as both games are on my wishlist and would cost considerably more than $12, even when on asle elsewhere.

If anyone is like me and hasn't subbed before, but wants to do so.. let me know because there's a refer a friend deal that nets the already-subbed friend $6 in store credit with humble - it has no benefit to the new subbee)

Omni, I might sub. How do we do this?

All you'd need to do is sub to monthly via this link.

Which is my Friend Referral code - I only just sub'd for the first time a n hour ago .. never sure how... liked.. that is around here (refer codes etc), but what the hey. I figured if someone was going to be sub'ing anyway, it's no harm done.

Hmm... went to Steam to gift a couple of bundles to people, but I get an error I've never seen before:

Because the contents of The Blackwell Bundle are personalized for your account, it cannot be purchased as a gift.

Anyone know a way to do the equivalent of this without manually buying all five games several times?

I've seen that before when I owned most but not all games in a bundle I wanted to gift. If you own 3/5, it only prices the other 2 for you. Haven't tried with a bundle I own all of.

Yeah, googling around I saw people saying that, and that it could be gotten around by starting the purchase in a browser and only logging into steam once the bundle was in your cart. But weirdly, the error message shows up for this particular bundle even when not logged into steam at all. I guess some bundles just can't be given as gifts?

Steam accounts are free. Make a second account called "fenomas-gifts" or something and gift games from it.

There's a waiting period after creating an account before you can gift from it so it won't help this sale, but you can get set up for the next one that way.

It looks like receiving gifts doesn't remove limited restrictions. But putting $5 in steam wallet does. So it might work immediately for gifts.

The error message says the bundle just isn't giftable, regardless of account. The page is here, if you click add to cart the message should show and the "gift" button should be grayed out. (Unless it's region-specific..?)

I was curious so I tried as well and you're correct. It gave me the same error and I don't own any of the games on Steam.

I decided to get these, so I just joined using your link. I'm resubscribing so I'm not sure if it will work, but I gave it a shot anyway.

I think it's only for new subscribers, but thanks for trying anyway! I'm not sure how many people are left that have never subscribed to humble monthly (but are likely to eventually). Maybe we can get some kind of pay-it-forward chain of subscriptions going over time

Or we could just make you rich!

While the idea of swimming in humblebucks does sound appealing (although not life-changing), a GWJer chain would be more beneficial

Here's mine if anyone wants it: https://www.humblebundle.com/monthly...

Definitely paused this month and told them it was because of the developer's actions around GamerGate.

I ended up grabbing it for Mars.

SOULCALIBUR VI collector's edition is $49 for the PS4 on amazon. No DLC or season pass. You'll probably only want this if you want the statue or if you are planning on selling the statue.

Field of Glory II is the Star Deal on Fanatical today @ $7.49, which is the lowest it's been. Sadly, only for Windows. Even so, I bought it so fast I think I hurt myself.

Pretty fun deal if you live in Australia!

Guess I'm resubbing too, oh well!

Edit: I do realise that's like, 5 of us.

Does that pizza deal come with a season pass?
