Warframe

The synapse is supposed to be really good, but I don't like the really weird way it shoots. 11 is mostly just a stepping stone between Arca Plasmor 10 and all those Syndicate weapons at 12.

Yeah I'm MR12 and that seemed a big one. I only see like 2 store items that I'm not high enough rank to use still.

MR10 - you can auto-fill Ayatan statues!!! MR14 seems to be the “you can now use every weapon/mod in the game” tier. Everything after MR14 is just more starting mod-power on your frames and weapons. I’m at MR19, and it feels weird that I can slot in a bunch of mods in a brand new item, but then feels like ages before I can add more.

I didn't know the locked the auto star think behind master rank. That is cruel!

Post 14 I like the extra loadouts, plus the extended max daily faction rep. Makes it pretty easy to passively get Syndicate rep to trade for relics or whatever by way of the faction tattoos.

My in game is fogrob on switch. Can I get an invite to the cool kids club? I’ll bring ninja cookies!

wait, are ninja cookies shaped like weapons or are they just invisible?

Sent an invite

I’m thinking shuriken shaped? Thanks athros!

Welcome Nintenno.

I saw this again, recently, and I thought I’d share it.

That was cool! They have any more?

Wisp built! That leaves the 2 locked behind Vox Solaris standing

Trinity Prime - 30’d, Banshee Prime - building. Spent nearly an entire day Nekrosing long Survivals on Uranus - Drekkar Butchers - for Condition Overload... no luck

Maxed both Nakak’s Exodia - and bought a couple copies of the Plague Zaw parts - I probably should just keep doing Plague Star - for ALL THE FORMA. The Plague bounty is also a great source for Cetus wisps.

Don't forget to mention how we played that defense mission for 30 minutes and then got to talking and forgot to defend the container.

We’ll never speak of it, again......

Stopped playing for a couple of months. After finishing the main quest I was confused what to do next besides grinding the wolf cred which became boring after a while. Then I missed the end of the event so all my wolf cred was just gone which made me ignore the game for a few weeks.

A friend pulled me back in with the current nightwave. Sunday, I spend two hours trying to find out how to gild a weapon and what weapon to gild which was a waste of time since it turns out it's all locked behind a grind for standing that would require me to figure out how to grind standing in the first place...

So basically I'm as confused as I was after starting the game figuring out what to do next and how to do it... Any suggestions? Judging from the nightwave objectives the next thing would be sorties I guess?

I stuck to Frost Prime (from the amazon prime promotion), the vectis prime (also prime promotion) or amprex and a lesion for my playthrough of the main quest. Should I look into another frame and/or weapons for sorties?

Sorties (collecting rivens), getting open world rep, getting new and interesting frames/weapons.
frost prime is a good frame but he only really shines in defense and mobile defense missions (ones with stationary defense targets). definitely don't get rid of him, but realistically you're gonna want a stealth frame for spy missions, something good at killing mobs fast, something that can tank and deal serious boss damage.
I'd say the fun of warframe often isn't the missions themselves, it's having (and using) different approaches to the same missions.
for example, a mobile defense mission with limbo and a mobile defense with gara are both different experiences from a mobile defense with frost. you start adding in a larger roster of weapons and you can turn a mission type you're bored with into a new and interesting challenge.
I currently run about 6 different builds for different missions and they're always changing as i start liking new frames or weapons in a particular role. have you pursued any of the quest frames? (octavia, titania, inaros, etc), void trader is coming friday and if you don't have inaros you should definitely get the quest start item from him to get inaros, with the right build he's basically unkillable.
oh, and you need a rhino if you don't have one! no matter what you're doing on the star chart he can probably do a creditable job.
on the rep grinding front, for cetus plains, your best bet for rep is actually fishing, norgs from the big lake at night and murkrays from the ocean during the day, you need bait, fishing dye and the two pronged spear. an hour of that and you could have a couple days worth of max daily ranking.
for vallis you want to mine gems, you'll need to get high enough for the vallis specific mining laser and then you can go gangbusters. same deal, an hour of mining and you can max daily rank for a day or 2.
if you get a resource booster (from login, sortie reward or spending some plat if you have alot to spare) go do those things for a few hours each and you'll have a staggering amount of stuff to turn in for rep when you need it.

Whoa they potentially made Wukong fun. That seems wild to me because sorted by usage, he's been the very last frame in my roster for years now.

I would advise not grinding for rep unless you like the activity that gets you the rep. I like the spear fishing, but I wouldn't ever do it for an hour. For Earth I tend to do the bounties here and there, which are more fun if you get the archwing launcher. For Venus I like the Exploiter Orb boss fight. She's fun and drops way too many gems, so I sell them for drug money.

But you don't have to level up stuff that isn't fun. I don't really care for the spoiler mechanic, and there's all kinds of systems and leveling around that. I suspect that locks me out of getting most of the arcanes, but whatever, I can do the level 100 sorties no problem without good arcanes. Likewise I don't really like the archwing missions that much so it probably took me over a year to level one of those primary weapons.

I prefer mining for earth rep. The funny thing is I only got into this after getting the Fortuna mining laser that shows minerals on the mini map.

I do enjoy zaws since I get to make the melee weapon I want.

My key to warframe is rotation. I do relics, then move to sorties, then move to open world, then quests, ect. As long as I am in the mood for a shooter I can find something to do that I have not done recently.

I started playing again after buying the switch, but have now started back on pc. I think for me the fun part is just hanging out with a group (from here or elsewhere) and killing stuff. God knows I’m not actually doing anything to help! Although, I have felt a little helpful lately with Trinity Prime.

Nightwave is where all the timed alert rewards went (alternate helmets, nitain...), plus a few ‘more special’ items as you ranked up the tiers (Umbra Forma, unique cosmetics...). It can be ignored (except maybe the nitain), but it’s very useful - Frame/weapon slots, blue or gold potatoes...

I’m a big fan of having “all the frames” - the right tool for the job, and it can keep the game fresh. My recommendation for everyone is: (1 & 2 have some wiggle between them) 1 - complete the story, 2 - farm the parts for frames on the early planets, 3 - clear your star chart

Don’t neglect buying weapon blueprints from the market, when you can - at least you’ll have them either waiting in your foundry (if you’ve built them), or they’re ready to build when you have the materials (at any time, I probably have 10-20 unclaimed items in my foundry).

Some weapons that are locked behind standing are also highly recommended - Zaws (Cetus rep), and Kitguns (Fortuna rep). When built “properly” and the “right” mods - these are DEVATSTATING! I’d recommend running a few bounties for each to get your daily cap.

I've done 2. Can't do 3 until I unlock Sedna which requires the whole derelict keys thing, which I guess I'm going to have to go to recruiting and find a team to do. Maybe I should get back to 1...

Mining is the easiest way to get your Fortuna rep.... it’s awful for Cetus (the rep per gem is pitiful). As above, don’t waste your time with any of the Cetus mining lasers (if you can avoid it), the Fortuna laser is a million times better, and it’s pretty cheap.

I'm still working my way towards that. With the Bloodstained release being not the best on Switch I'm planning on circling back around and working towards Saturn and beyond.

I’m down to help anyone if I can on switch or pc. Should be fogrob on both and I know I’m in gwj clan on switch.

I forgot rule number 4 - always be building Forma (if you have the blueprints, and materials)... they take 24hrs to build, and you’ll burn through them in seconds.

Forma is for closers.

I just can't get neurodes fast enough to forma. I have extractors going 24/7. But the basic ones never get good stuff and the rare ones keep getting the 4th item, detonite. Ugh.

I know I should actually play missions for materials but dammit.

Lol, don’t I know it. I have 6 distilling, and 6 titan (in case my ‘previous 3’ got damaged, and need a break)... 90% of the time I either get the bottom resource, or the top one... only 10% of the time do I get one of the middle 2.

An actual 50% off plat sale on Switch?

Finally!

I guess I will invest for a few more slots in the future after all.

Looks like it's through the 28th only so hurry.

Was that your daily log-in reward? Those are individual, certain milestones are the same for everyone - day 200 was a choice of 1 of 3 Primed mods.

No for everyone: https://www.warframe.com/news/ninten...

Switch definitely doesn't do those daily rewards for plat. Don't think any of the consoles do. PC only.
