[News] Post a D&D Picture

Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.

If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.

And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.

This is the strangest "normalization of behaviour I find normal" I've seen in a while.

Hey now with the ass and the umption. I live in a country that uses Celsius, it is normal to me, and Fahrenheit is still better.

I mean, we could all get used to an inverted log scale if we wanted to. My point is just that the things that make Imperial so brain-dead for other quantities don't really apply to temperature. We don't convert temperatures between large and small units, and there aren't any "X per degree" type units in common usage. So basically any scale will do, and a 0-100-ish scale makes reasonably more sense than anything else.

(You don't have to pile on me, I know it's unpopular! )

Let's meet in the middle. We'll make a new scale where 0 is where water freezes and 100 is "too damn hot". Then we can both be happy!

No, Obama was going to win anyway once Ryan got the nomination, because everyone hated the other people even more. The rumors that he was a creep were from the GOP primary. The only person who could have conceivably beaten Obama at the point where Ryan dropped off was(and I'm serious) Mike Ditka.

And finally, this entire thing basically meant that Obama won with 70% of the vote vs 55% to 60%.

edit: oops, misread the prior comment.

Sure, but is still kind of a neat little factoid.

The rest of the world sees America as extremely good at haggling?

They see America as willing to make sacrifices for what is really important.

You know that that cashier didn't start at 15.

"Because we're not morons:" This bumper sticker announces you're voting for "the Democrat"

The Democrat 2020 bumper sticker:

Look, we're all gonna have favorites during the primary. That's what primaries are for. But once we have a Democratic nominee, we're gonna vote for them, because we're not morons. Announce your intent to end the madness by voting for the Democrat in 2020, whoever they are.

...Made with adhesive so it's easy to change when the time comes to replace this sticker with one from your new favorite nominee.

I don't get it. Are beards "uncool" because one well known asshole grew one?

Sigh. Reminds me of the naïve, innocent time a few years when the thought of Ted Cruz gaining influence and power was the ultimate fear in American politics. How little did we know.

Well, it kinda worked with HitlerStache

Honestly, the thing that bothers me most is that they used both "lying" and "lyin'". They couldn't even come up with 7 unique descriptors with which to slander their opponents.

I mean, if you're going to be THAT cartoonishly awful you could at least put some effort into it.

My guess--pollsters trying to keep their jobs had to come up with a ridiculous enough Democratic alternative to ensure they could show Trump how great he's doing.

Also beards are great. Hipsters however,
