Awesome!

Congratulations and good luck!

Congratulations and that IS an awesome cake.

Congratulations on your awesome cake!

Congratulations!! That's amazing, and that's a gorgeous cake!!

Congrats, and I hope neither of you is injured by the traditional smashing of cake to the face, because that thing looks like it's made of stone.

Sorry to disappoint, but apparently the fans just got drunk and partied. I did see some fans rocking a golf cart back and forth, though.

Then I saw this. Apparently the rioters dreamt big, and they came up empty.

It was a night for dreams to come true, worth a shot =)

Thanks everyone! I truly appreciate it. :)

Belated gratz Cartoonin!!! Wish you and your beloved all the best!

Today is my 40th birthday. Aside from some lower back pain from hauling my 15 month-old daughter around, I feel pretty good about it.

Also, happy Flag Day (US) everyone!

I lied.

Let's f*cking go!

I took this this pic at 8:15 this morning from my wife's office. The parade is more than 4 hours away, and folks have been sleeping out here all night. We had thunderstorms roll through all night, and the rain continues, pretty much all day. St. Louis really wanted this Cup.

Hard to believe Boston lost, but congratulations St. Louis!

Farmers Market breakfast!!!! Freshly grilled organic turkey sausage and a wood fired oven french pastry.

Congrats Cartoonin! Wish you all the best.

Sounds delish!

In these stupid times, it is good to acknowledge some of the awesome things happening. Last night I got to play Betrayal Legacy with some dear friends, tonight and tomorrow I've got a fun sold out show that I get to perform in. After the show tonight, I'll get to hang with some peeps from here! Then I get a vacation next week.

Joe Montana and Tony Boselli Starting Lineup figures, acquired from eBay and now on display in my office.

Is Boselli missing a knee? Because that's all I remember about him.

It was the shoulder injury that ended his career (though he did tear his knee in 2000). And no, this is 1998 Boselli, before the injuries piled up.

Thanks for taking all that money off the Jags' salary cap though. Probably took two years off of the team's crawl out of cap hell.

Last week for father's day I took a 4 day weekend and took the kids to a luxury RV resort. It was awesome, and we had a great time.
But what I told my wife that I really wanted was just time alone. So, for my father's day gift, my wife is out of town with our 3 children for the next 4 days. Really looking forward to playing violent inappropriate video games, and watching action movies with my surround system turned up to 11.
EDIT: And now I'm leaving work early today to enjoy!

This from the QI Twitter account:
WORD OF THE DAY: DREIKӒSEHOCH - a German slang word for a small child. Literally means “three cheeses high”.

Dry-case-hock?

"Käse" is two syllables with the Ӓ pronounced long and the "e" is more of a "uh" sound, so it's dry-KAY-suh-hoch. (The 'ch' is like 'Bach' or a Scottish 'loch').

I always describe the German "ch" as "Just like Cumberbach".

One day my mother saw a little boy on an equally tiny bike and said, “He’s no taller than three penneth of copper neatly stacked.” Which is a similar thing.

Well, cheese wheels are like what, 8" tall? So that actually is reasonable for a toddler lol.

But, since the cheese stands alone, this makes no sense.
