I figure the actor's didn't want their likenesses used or their voices but couldn't they have gotten closer?

Yup, they look real weird. They should've went for their own unique style instead of trying to (poorly) mimic the MCU actors.

I still wish they would give some of the other games in the series this treatment. Six especially.

Yea it just looks like the Chinese knock off toys or something. If they weren't going to do the MCU then they should have used the comic style instead,

I'm thinking that's where the games as a service kicks in. Want the Hulk to look like Mark Ruffalo? That'll be $5.50.

A couple of dozen trailers here from E3 at PC Gamer

My favorites:
Cyberpunk 2077 (Preordered, not with 100% more Keanu)
Baldur's Gate 3 (yay!)
The Outer Worlds
Halo Infinite
Deathloop
Psychonauts 2
Jedi: Fallen Order
Avengers (or whoever those stunt doubles are)
Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2 (preordered!)
And of course Evil Genius 2

XCOM, but it's 1920s Chicago gangsters. Speaking as someone who played Phantom Doctrine, aka "XCOM, but it's 1980s Cold War espionage," I'm quite hyped.

20 Best NEW Games of E3 2019

That Link's Awakening remake make me want to go out and get a Switch. Such an underrated game in the series. Sadly it looks like they are letting you equip more than two items at a time which was a limitation of the original Gameboy only having two buttons that they used to make the game more interesting. Sometimes you would need to equip two things that weren't very effective weapons at the same time to solve a puzzle and so you would have to get creative when dealing with enemies. If you always have access to your sword and shield then that makes it a lot simpler.

Let me sum up this video for you:

import e3_2019_best_game_names[]; gamenumber = 20 repeat print concatenate( gamenumber, e3_2019_best_game_names[gamenumber] ) print "We don't know much about this game but it looks cool!" gamenumber = gamenumber - 1 until gamenumber = 0 print "Don't forget to like and subscribe and turn on notifications and visit our patreon!"

So every YouTube video with a clickbait ranking ever, the natural evolution of the clickbait ranking article that used to keep all the print-based website afloat.

You are a monster. A backwards counting loop writing monster

Straight out of nowhere, my 2017 GOTY is getting a sequel.

Yippee!

Ooh, VTMBloodlines 2 is going to be huge...
You can run around beating up women and homeless! Or better yet, homeless women!

This is the one that has me most intrigued from the E3 deluge, could be good, bad, but as Annapurna are willing to put their badge on it, will likely be interesting...

Avengers (or whoever those stunt doubles are)

Ooh! Alternate Universe story/game idea...

The Avengers are actually a criminal marketing campaign put on by the evil Marvel Corporation. Much of the human/structural collateral damage is real, but the battles are actually staged real-world events performed by criminal actors and stuntmen/women. One of the jobs of the stunt people is to engage in these staged battles and then swap out - undetected - with their famous "Avenger" actor-egos when in close proximity/interaction with the public.

All for the sake of selling billions of dollars worth of toys, tshirts, movies, and other superhero memorabilia.

Obviously, maintaining such a charade undetected is an impossible task. So, Marvel Corp is engaged in constant murder-for-hire and coverup/smear operations against anyone and everyone that sees the truth behind the curtain.

Plot twist: what starts as a marketing campaign ends in another - albeit REAL - battle(s) of the Avengers vs. costumed "super villains" who are real people who have learned the truth and banded together to fight the lies. Turns out these new super villains are the true super heroes.

I think you need to look up Union Dues by Jeffrey R. DeRego. It was about a union of superheroes run by a pretty shady corporation. Part of the story-line involves them using disenfranchised heroes to play the parts of villains. Mostly available in podcast format with a single book. Been a few years since there was anything new (at one time it had been optioned I think), but he said he had new stuff he was working on less than a year ago.

Nooooooo! My life's work! My masterpiece! My Piece de la Resistance! My Legacyyyyy!

Well, in that case, I'm dropping to my fallback plan - a male-waiters only version of Hooters called "Peckers".

...I'll check out that Union Dues podcast while I'm waiting for the money to start rolling in.
