any pc players ranking up meridian, hexis and suda? i'm max with perrin and new loka and about to start working on red veil so I'd be very much up for some syndicate mod trading.

I’m doing the Steel Meridian and Suda combo - levelling SM doesn’t negatively impact anyone (except the two I’ve written off - Perrin and Loka), and Suda only half-impacts Red Veil. I’m just waiting for Mirage Prime Systems to finish, and I can finally get max-rank with Hexis. As long as I pay attention to not let Red Veil get below zero, I have access to those 4, with varying swiftness.

Through my time in game, I’ve sold 2 Vaykor Hek (125k standing each), and I have another, waiting to sell - I think I’ve sold one for 40p, and the second one for 34(?)p - enough for a couple slots or potatoes :). I would encourage anyone to take a look at what you can get, and what kind of market there is for them, too.

Volt is mainly used in Eidolons (shooting through shields for the crit-boost), or blasting through Void Relic Capture missions (run past everything kill the target, and run to the exit). (At least that has been my experience)

Ya those are Volt's two jobs. I don't even like him for the Void capture because I bring a max speed Loki. When Volt hits the gas my sprint speed becomes pretty laughable.

Volt's sprint should be a toggle that doesn't immediately effect the other players, but leaves little sprint boost marks on the ground every so often so he's making a F-Zero minigame behind him for the others. Or maybe it still has a duration, but the duration gets extended whenever Volt succeeds at parkour without a hard landing or dead stop. And his electro attack should be a hold as long as you want, force-lightning thing that chains like Amprex over time with a much larger max chained range.

I actively dislike the Volt speed boost. Supposedly you can backflip out of it but they reapply it frequently, often I suspect on purpose.

Yes. In the endless quest to speed up the randos, you have to fine-tune the amount of Jooky on your group Volt loadout so as to not completely have them running into walls, and learn to always correctly pace the slowest player to stay just in front of them, guiding them along, but still in speed boost range.

Once in a while you find that rare relic group that can handle the speed, and then for the next run you whip out the Super Jooky loadout with absolutely every possible point of ability strength, and inevitably it proves to be too much for them. They must accept their shame.

Man I wish they had a true cross-platform account. I would love to play this game with some of you PC-ers.

Wisp's Speed Mote acts like a much friendlier way to share speed boosts. It is natural for the Wisp to just keep dropping the motes as she progresses through the mission to refresh the speed boost for herself, which naturally creates a chain of boost spots for those trying to catch up.

If you like playing Volt and play Volt a lot you probably do get used to playing something that resembles a grim future Benny Hill chase scene. I'd rather not, though

As a newish player I like the game although it feels like there's often little synergy between the different frames and sometimes you're competing for kills to power your stuff. I bought Nidus early on and he was fantastic but it was a struggle to build stacks when you had a Mesa or Saryn on the team. Now that Nidus has 200% range he pulls mobs from all over and I dare say that can get in the way of other players too.

Yeah, there's definitely some caster frames that compete. (I think you nailed the big three of Mesa, Saryn and Nidus that step on each other). Inaros can also have some trouble if you're trying to heal off a finisher and people keep murdering everything.

That said, there are a ton of frames with really neat synergy. Trinity works well with pretty much any frame that wants energy, Oberon adds a *ton* of regen and armor to squishy frames (Iron Renewal is flat armor, so an extra 500 armor is real nice on frames with like... 50.).

For example, Nezha and Nidus are a hilarious combination on higher-level enemies. (Nidus pulls everything, Nezha throws a chakram in for a ridiculous damage buff, then Nidus finishes the job for stacks, and a bunch of health/energy orbs drop. The augment that lets you put Nezha's shield on someone else is also real good for Nidus, and Nezha benefits a lot from the Ravenous regen area and Parasitic Link)

I tried to farm for the last offering I need for syndicate final rank so I can finally get those Rhino mods. I'm 15k away from max so I wanted to be prepared. But I only had two relics of the right type. Didn't get the medium rarity drop I needed on either run, even after boosting the chances.

So now I try to farm relic drops to hope they are the one I need so I can do that again? Man no wonder people spend Platinum on items.

I'm not sure how relic drops and syndicate ranking relate to each other, other than that 20k syndicate points can be exchanged for three random relics. Other than that I think those are two disparate systems?

If you really want a particular relic drop, lookup which location has the best drop rate / run time for the right relic, then do a radshare. I think you're odds are about 60% of getting a specific uncommon drop when all four players are running the same radiant relic. Around 30% for a rare.

To get the best mods for Rhino I need max syndicate rank. For me I chose Perrin, which I am next to max rank in. To get that final rank I have to give an offering item, Hydroid Prime Neuroptics. That part only drops from Neo G1 relics. So I need to farm those to farm the part and so on...

Yeah I probably should have tried a team request for others using the same relic before I burned the two I had. Now it's going to be much more of a grind.

Oh yeah I forgot you turn in a single prime part for one of the rank ups. Tis a silly game.

I needed Mirage Prime Systems to get that last tier with Hexis.... I burned through 1000 Void traces making the relic(s) radiant - bronze drop 9/10 times, and a silver 1/10 (I have THE WORST luck with radiant relics). Burned through 7 more unmodified relics to finally get the right part.

If you can get a group together radsharing is the way to go. Your odds of getting a rare item in ten radiant runs is around 70% alone vs 98% radsharing. RNG hates 70% more than it hates 50-50.

I think I got overconfident last week. I was maxed on traces so just burned 100 for the hell of it and ran that relic and got the rare drop.

Made it seem easy, so I thought getting an uncommon wouldn't be so tough. Oops.

Not sure if I want to out myself... but my bad luck spreads to the squad. The number of rad shares, I’ve been a part of, where all 4 options end up being bronzes, are more numerous than I might like to admit... o.O

Interesting you mention Oberon as I've just built Oberon Prime but haven't had a chance to level him yet. Currently I'm spending most time on Mirage Prime as I like the 'makes every gun better' thing she has going on. I don't really play Nidus that much now although he was great while I was getting to grips with the game, his abilities scaling with stacks long after my primary weapon had stopped being effective. But, I don't find myself playing the long missions that he excels at.

Currently I'm MR10 and have the following frames (not all levelled yet though): Nidus, Saryn Prime, Mirage Prime, Oberon Prime, Chroma Prime, Excalibur Umbra, Gara, Garuda, Inaros, Ivara, Titania, Valkyr and Wisp. Weapon wise, Arca Plasmor, Lanka, Ignis Wraith get used. I built a Catchmoon and it's been fantastic, and I managed to make an amp (the Schwaak shotgun that new players get recommended a lot). And I built the Paracesis (even though I know I'll hate putting 5 forma into it) so that I'm ready for The New War whenever that happens. So I've built a fair amount of stuff.

What I'm not sure of is what to do now. I pushed to MR10 to get access to decent weapons but I'm a bit tired of levelling stuff. I really should be maxing more mods but that will break builds requiring forma and ... more levelling. But I'm not at the level to do sorties yet ... And anyway I'm not seeing a good reason to get into level 120+ missions, the game doesn't really seem to reward that.

I thought Sorties just required a level 30 warframe, and room in your riven inventory. Is there a Mastery Rank gate for those?

Higher level goals tend to be rivens, expanding your mod roster and leveling them up, completing the star chart, climbing some of the factions, and forma'ing a few things to be crazy good. And the lenses that get you focus which I put off for way too long.

Well I think I need 100% of the star chart unlocked ... or maybe that's arbitrations? Anyway, it was more that I wasn't sure I had adequate gear yet. Building the frames is straightforward (mostly). But the mods take a while to drop and then there's having enough endo and credits.

Full star chart is for Arbitrations, which is a decent source of both credits and endo. You've got Inaros, he's very good for Sorties with his 4 augmented to mitigate incoming status procs.

So sick of argon crystals. Had at least 4 drop the last week or so but need 2 for several recipes and can't ever get the 2nd one before the first disappears.

Such a stupid player punishing mechanic that doesn't respect my time.

Gameplay or fun should trump lore every damn time. So dumb.

I prefer doing Defense Fissures for my Argon Crystal farming - the drops come to you - I feel like I get 2 or more every time.

Arbitrations (needs “full” star chart) get you Endo, Vitus Essence, and some unique mods (Adaptation, for ex).

Whaaaaat? I thought Sorties were for Anasa Statues (pineapples). Actually, it’s my primary source for Rivens.

With Dauntless to be the first game to go into official launch with cross-platform/cross-save available from the get-go, I have to believe we're at the start of this becoming the new norm. Digital Extremes has always been really good about delivering new content and features - if only one existing game franchise were to add it after the fact, my money is on Warframe.

I think Adaptation is a pretty low drop rate for rotation A, and almost all of the Arbitrations I do putter out after rotation A. I consider that a mod I'll never get.

Ayatans have somewhat similar drop rates between Arbitration and Sortie, but Arbitrations tend to be a little easier, don't take three missions, and you get one and hour rather than one a day. Getting an ayatan sculpture as a sortie reward seems like the dud to me. Sometimes I find those things laying on the ground!

Finally cracked down, and ran Mutalist Alad V - 5 times - to get the BPs for basic Mesa. Built, and thirtied, will sell off soon. I’ve used Mesa Prime, lots, to be the “point at enemy to make enemy disappear” in High-Index runs.

I still needed an extra Saryn System to get basic Chroma built, so I steeled myself for a grind. Started the mission solo, a Rhino popped in about halfway to the “locks” - 1st run, BAM! Saryn systems :). Now I just need some argon crystal, and I think that’s it for all the basic frames.

I’ve been spending most of my time on endless Lith/Meso/Neo relic fissures - pick the highest ducat payout, or grab the Forma if all the choices are only worth 15d.

I just beat MR19 test - melee only, stay undetected, free the prisoner. Used Banshee and the Redeemer Prime. Couldn’t use powers so Ivara/Loki was out, but Banshee’s silencing passive still works :). Probably could have used the Glaive, to similar effect.

Nightwave 1.5 started today - banged out all the current challenges, except the “find all 3 caches in 3 Salvage missions” (bleh). That was enough for 100 NW creds, 2 drone slots, and 3x golden potatoes; next tier is a colour pallet.

Yeah drone slots look nice. I still have a few to craft and don't fancy spending plat on that

I really surprised myself by finishing all of this week's Nightwave challenges in a couple of days. So Tier 5/15. I think I started playing Warframe during Week 4 of Season 1 and, being totally new and clueless, managed to only get to Tier 20 before it ended. The tweaks they made seem good so far.

Also MR11 today. Not sure there's anything good I can equip at 11 that I couldn't at 10, but still.
