Brightburn - final trailer

*So it is actually just a slasher film with a superhero as the slayer....less interested.

Yeah, too scary for me. Yikes.

Is it a BBC and HBO co-production or just HBO showing it in the States. Anyway Ruth Wilson is inspired casting and I'm so excited for it and well aboard the hype train.

It’s a co-production.

Disney's Aladdin - Speechless Special Look

Cautiously, cautiously, optimistic.

So kind of ignoring the timeline up to now...it can't be a worse choice

Yea it is a sequel to T2 that ignores all the other garbage they have released since then.

Yeah Cameron back for an actual T3. Cautiously optimistic.

I'm fine with that, since T2 was the last Terminator film I've bothered watching.

Also, not a movie, but a trailer, none-the-less. - An official Star Trek: Picard teaser appeared about 25 minutes ago and has now been removed. It was intriguing. Hopefully it'll resurface soon.

Schwarzenegger posted this on Reddit earlier, saying that this trailer didn't give the story away (!). The thread turned into an impromptu AMA.

Oh, and here's an official Paramount trailer link for freaks like me that don't like to give views to trailer farms.

OMG this Reddit AMA is so funny.

I'm in

I'm really confused at allz y'allz talking about Terminator movies after T2. Whatever weirdo fan movies you stumbled upon don't count.

Anyway, there's more than sufficient reason to be dubious of a new Terminator--it's been nearly 30 years since the last one, after all. But I'm not going to lie, that Linda Hamilton entrance has me hype as f*ck.

The BBC now realizes that pretty much everyone in the UK now wants off this planet, so...

This is where I'm at. I know I shouldn't be excited. I expect the movie to be bad. Cameron's involvement doesn't mean anything anymore really, except that it will probably have a big budget and some nice effects work. He hasn't been a positive influence on a movie beyond that in years and years as far as I can tell, and he's honestly never been a good writer. His movies have skated by on sometimes fun core ideas and cool action or revolutionary effects work, and they've been saved by some performances that add weight where it doesn't seem like there maybe was any in the script.

Even with all that... older badass Linda Hamilton hits me just right.

And it doesn't hurt that Mackenzie Davis is usually pretty great.

The Arnold AMA is the best thing that happened on the internet this week

Tim Miller directing makes me cautiously optimistic. I liked Deadpool well enough, as well as Love, Death & Robots. And well, compared to Jonathan Mostow, McGee, and Alan taylor, it's undoubtedly a step up.

And the aging action hero movie train keeps on running. Next stop, Rambo.

The Dark Crystal: Age of Resistance

But it is clever! It is "last blood" and the series started with "first blood"! Get it? First - Last?

....I need to rewatch the dark crystal.

So, that's Pixar's next movie after Toy Story 4, and a new idea. Well, not really a new idea, but definitely a new brand. I can't say I'm that excited, honestly.

What if Zootopia but magical creatures! And dudes. Gotta have the dudes.

Also, why did they pay Chris Pratt to impersonate Jack Black when they could have just hired Jack Black?
