What are you playing this weekend?

I'm very interested in this game. You'll have to tell us more .

Did anyone get Pathway yet?

Reviews on Steam appear mixed.

EDIT: Skip that. It's got its own thread.

A new Hearthstone expansion just launched. So that, but hopefully also RDR Online with my son.

Mostly just working on my play thorough of vanilla XCOM 2. I'm at the point in the game where things have become manageable, I can move engineers around to get enough comms, and I can start blasting through several story missions whenever I feel like it.

And maybe some Splatoon 2 or something, if I need something lighter.

I finally managed to move on with a new character in Pathfinder Kingdoms - A fey sorceror with the pet - So much fun! Just hit level 8 and the delayed posion and stinking cloud combo is glorious!

I just beat it on PS4 a few weekends ago. It was really beautiful, had some great narrative storytelling, and enough mechanics to keep me interested.

Sounds great! I definitely need to check it out!

I really enjoyed my time with it, it reminded me of Journey, definitely recommend it.

I will definitely get it. Thanks!

AC3 Remastered. I make no apologies. I really enjoy this game. Having just finished Odyssey (which I also enjoyed) it's fascinating to dive forward/back in time to the older style of AC. Love the hunting, homestead building and being able to chain combo large groups of Red Coats. I also found I'd missed Shawn's sarcastic database entries and the puzzle element of having to look for places that are climbable to reach a goal rather than being able to climb practically anywhere. Also love going on missions to far away forts and mystery islands for one off set pieces of game play. Also you can pet pigs so GOTY.

It's the start of a long weekend here. I'm hoping to finish up A Case of Distrust. It's supposed to be a 2 to 3 hour game, so shouldn't be too hard. I'm sure I'll continue gorging myself on Assassin's Creed Odyssey. I also want to put time into Dreams Early Access on PS4.

Assassin's Creed: Odyssey
Despite owning it since December-ish, I had barely touched it. Last weekend I fell down the well and got up to level 15. More of that, please!

Nabbed Train Valley 2 on a whim and I'm quite digging so far.

Inviting & clean presentation coupled with simple & clever mechanics. It's one of those 'easy to grasp, difficult to master' propositions, esp. when shooting for perfect 5-star rankings on each level.

Oddly relaxing and challenging all at the same time.

Factorio continues to charm & delight, in turns pitting my imagination against my self-esteem. I'm finding the game appreciably demanding on a cerebral level, but in all the good ways. Challenging me to build a better mousetrap at every turn. To think big when the supply lines begin to stagnate.

If all else fails with the above I'll likely bash some skulls in with Zomboid. For a game that's so low-poly & dated in appearance, the scavenge & combat loop is surprisingly tactile and satisfying from a pure action perspective.

As much

As I can, plus hopefully a few one-offs for Space Game Junkie. It's a busy weekend.

The weekend starts early this week --sweet! I am going back to Horizon: Zero Dawn, which I completed last summer, to play The Frozen Wilds expansion, which I recently bought. Alloy better be ready for the cold weather!

Since I just beat Mutant Road Zero, I have a hankering to throw myself at tactical RPGs again, so... XCOM 2 has been re-installed.

Time to cry.

How is the late game for Mutant?

Here's what my weekend looks like:

Sekiro: Shadows Die Twice
LoH: Trails of Cold Steel
The Cave
FFVII HD
Persona 5
Persona 4 Golden

There may well be a sampler of other games in there, but that should be it.

How do you play so many RPGs at the same time? I would get them all mixed up.

For me, it's

I'm not sure why I put off playing this for so long. It's an absolute treat.

Hahahaha. Yeah, I know, it can be tricky, but I have relatively decent memory. Somehow, I manage to keep track. One of the few things I'm actually good at in life, I guess. :p

More time with The Division 2. I'm level 22 now. I'm marching towards Level 30, at which point I don't expect to play much more, at least for a little while.

Thanks to Game Pass, I'm likely to start both Monster Hunter World and The Walking Dead: New Frontier. I really liked the first two seasons of Telltale's Walking Dead, so I'm curious to see how that series continued on.

I'm working on the beginning of Assassin's Creed: Rogue. I'm about an hour in, and this game seems to assume you already played Black Flag, since they unceremoniously toss the boat at you in the first 30 minutes and say "go."

It's also Splatfest time for Splatoon 2, and the 3.0 patch for Smash Bros Ultimate just dropped, so I'll probably mess around in both those games as well. Might see if there are any great/dumb custom stages out there yet.

Time to put a pin on The Walking Dead: The Final Season.

Also Sekiro too if not too tired.

Nothing but Legend of Heroes: Trails of Cold Steel for me!

Endless Space 2; I bought the Hissho DLC during the summer sale and only now getting around to it. I must say it is such a pretty 4X.

Some Persona 5, to finally clear the sixth palace and the Giant info dump that follows it! After that, I’m not sure.

I've been playing it off and on since New Year's Day, but this seems to be the weekend when Assassin's Creed Odyssey hooked me. I've respecced to make combat more fun and less laborious, and I've unlocked the cultist screen, so it's time to take out the trash.
