Trailer Catch All

Oh boy. After the light-hearted mini-rants here, I just can't WAIT to see what the Angry Internet Fanboys have to say about this teaser.

Maybe I'll just stay off the internet until next year.

Ummm, ok....Nothing horrible, nothing wonderful....

I guess I will be happy if there is a story that makes sense.

No no no, it's backward now. Everyone hating on this trailer loved The Last Jedi. Probably. I think.

It was Palpatine. Ian McDiarmid was out on stage at the Star Wars Celebration in Chicago when it was revealed. I can buy him as a force ghost communicating with Snoke and influencing Kylo. I'm going to be incredibly disappointed if Rey turns out to be a Skywalker (with an exception for her only adopting the name). She's far better as her own character.

Oh FFS.

Seeing the title, I suddenly had a vision in my head of a internet undergrowth reactionary, ears perking up beneath his greasy metalhead nerdmane. "Yes!" he says, "I was right all along! She is a Skywalker," forgetting that the key line of The Last Jedi is "I will not be the Last Jedi." And there, on opening night, he sits, and at some point, Rey says something like "The true legacy of Skywalker lives on in each and everyone of us who is not related to him by family, and now we will rise!" Then his heart pops like a zit.

Well I was turned off immediately upon seeing that the main character had XX midichlorians.

Who thinks they can recapture lightning in a bottle?

I do! I do!

Time to rewatch the series and movie!

This trailer can not be topped

It's like everything I like about F&F 5+ without all the crap I hate about F&F as a whole. I think the Rock is going to win this breakup.

Do I need to watch the whole series before seeing this because I dropped off after #4 or so but this looks delightfully stupid.

Oh, farley3k. #5 is where the series becomes infinitely watchable. Not good, but super fun.

Oh, here's this.

I suppose if you can't have Brad Douriff, that Mark Hamill is a respectable replacement.

Hobbes & Shaw looks f*cking nuts. I f*cking love it.

(I don't care about Chucky)

They turned Child's Play into a Black Mirror movie?

Still weird to see Shaw talk about family after he killed Han.

Han wasn't blood so it don't matter. Apparently.

If Hobbes & Shaw has a tiny fraction of the awesome in that trailer, it will be my all-time favorite action movie.

Also, "Look at me. I'm black Superman." Tell us something we don't know, Big Dris. #drool #mancrush #majorthirst #iamheterosexualbutitdoesntmatter

Two very different trailers:

Based on the Central Park Five.

This second one is NSFW and could be really bad:

This popped up in my Netflix notifications last night. Looks like it might have potential, if the show is structured at all like the trailer, which gets creepier and creepier the longer you watch.

What crazy person created and edited this trailer?

eh, needs more Gipsy Danger.

Because that worked out so well the last time.

So Godzilla has gone from metaphor for nuclear holocaust to metaphor for domestic violence.

Also not sure the Oz connection makes sense. What a Wonderful World fits though.

That may be the worst de-aging CGI that I've seen yet.
