Final fantasy XV of all games has the warp in, though not the warp out.

You can also warp out if you aim for a high point in the environment. Shame that the game isn't so great.

I'm not too far in to the game, so i might be wrong about this, but that only works if the fight you're having has those warp-points nearby.

Once you get good with your grappling hook in Just Cause games you can pull off those kinds of moves, but it's definitely movement rather than *bamf*whackpowbiff*bamf*.

Insomniac's Spider-Man on PS4 has some of the best fight mechanics in any video game, bar none. Web pull to an enemy, beat him up for a few attacks, then easily jump/Web pull away either to another point or to another enemy. That doesn't even count the amazing air combat mechanics or dodge mechanics.

Man, forget work today. I'm going to go play Spider-Man.

Ooh, that does sound promising. Just looked at some videos and that does look close to what I'm looking for.

This might be a random question, but I'd like any guidance anyone here can give me. Has anyone ever been to Red Lobster during Lobsterfest? I could probably count the times I've been to Red Lobster on one hand, but I gotta say that these lobster commercials are making me want to go. I've never had lobster outside of a bisque so I figure, maybe find an RD somewhere near me and try it out. Is it worth it?

Beanman, Path of Exile has some teleport and also rush skills that let you close quickly to attack, and also can be used to teleport away from your current location. You’d want to find a build that uses them; I know some Bow skills have teleport but I think there is a straight Blue magic gem that disappears you and plops you down elsewhere. I think there’s a lightning-based one, and also a necro one that uses dead bodies as mass.

But anyway this should be possible, see if you can find teleport builds. The game that did this *really* well was Marvel Heroes, with Nightcrawler. I loved his gameplay and it really was teleport-strike-teleport. But that’s gone now... Sigh.

Go now, before these damned liberals succeed in their campaign to take the lobster out of Lobsterfest.

I'm a seafood snob, but if Red Lobster really is the best seafood option near you, I guess you could go for it.

Grenn - Stengah tag says they live in Maine. Just go visit or ask for an air drop.

How attached are you to it being nice?

There's a world of difference between a good lobster cooked well and a cheap lobster cooked poorly. If you're in the market for the latter, then Red Lobster has your back. It's the difference between a steak at Outback and a steak at a fancy steakhouse, only more so.

No judgement here, I'll go hog-nuts on both of those options, but I'm not kidding myself that they're remotely the same experience.

The lobster at Red Lobster can be good; depends on the cook, since you’re gonna want to go whole hog and pick one from the tank. They do sell less expensive options, but a lot of those are rock lobster or other crustaceans which, while tasty, are not Maine lobstah. Frankly, I think their grilled menu has revivified the chain. I grew up with their fried stuff, but the grilled fish and chicken they have are very tasty and even healthy if you don’t chow down every last bit of rice with them.

But hey, Outback steaks are decent. You don’t need to go to Ruth’s Chris to enjoy a steak; Outback and Fogo de Chao and Frank’s Best Korean BBQ and your local chop house will all have wildly differing takes on steak, but they will all satisfy the desire. I say try the lobster at RL, but remember to try it in a good East Coast restaurant, the first chance you get. Especially if you get to Maine or New Hampshire near the shore, because then every “lobster shack” will have something truly delicious. True Lobster Rolls are amazing delights and you can’t get enough of them once you develop the taste.

So think of Red Lobster as the start of a journey, and set off!

I basically want to warp to an enemy, pull some sweet moves, then warp away. Does such a game exist?

It's not exactly how it actually worked, but that was the *feel* of Shadow of Mordor.

It is always worth trying, maybe your local Red Lobster is a good one. I think I have eaten it three times in the last 20 years and each time was disappointing for me. It is the Olive Garden of seafood.

I was going to recommend that as well because it had that feeling for sure.

We actually do have a good kitchen at the local Red Lobster. Not a gastropub, but not Long John Silver’s either.

My local Long John Silvers is actually surprisingly good!

I'm a fan of Outback, I guess I'll head up to the Red Lobster.

I thought of Mass Effect 2 and 3 playing as a Vanguard myself.

Who first looked at a giant underwater bug and said "Hey, that looks tasty"??

Seriously, that's a question I'd like answered.

I was going to recommend the Batman (Arkham Asylum, and City) games... kept reading and others have recommended Spider-Man, which is very much an iteration on the same kind of combat (ie: good )

There was once a prison riot in New England because they tried to feed the prisoners lobster and they were mad they were being fed garbage food.

How lobster went from prison trash food to delicacy

The key word being "surprisingly".

Yeah, I'd eat there before I'd eat at McDonalds.

Yep. The answer is "poor people".

I'd like to know the same thing, but for Fugu (pufferfish). I always envision a bunch of Japanese fishermen standing around looking at each other.

"OK guys, Oki-san ate the body and died. Mira-san ate the head and died. And Hiro-san ate the tail and died. I'm pretty sure this something on this fish is edible. Who would like to try the eyeballs?"

but.. puffer fish is an easy one, no? dolphins use them to get high.. monkey see monkey do!

Also, tiny amounts of puffer fish can deliver a "pleasant" numbness and tingling, while other parts are indeed edible. Interestingly, fermentation destroys the tetrodotoxin, and since that was a common method of using fish in the region, they might only have noticed the problem when eating it raw. With that, it's reasonable to assume that they were *very* cautious in the process of identifying which parts are most toxic (ovaries and liver) and which would not kill you outright, but leave a nice buzz (skin and muscle).

Are there any Goodjers who are chemists, or experts in chemistry? I have some questions for a writing project.
