Dill pickle chips are a thing, so I'm guessing typo.

That was my assumption, but maybe dill lickle is Canada's favorite brand of chips with innuendo.

dill lickle .. I mean.. damn you autocorrect? maybe? but.. why is it correcting pickle to lickle?

I have a lot of questions.

Is it Gboard? Gboard has been going gradually insane over the past few months.

Isn't "lickle" an old way of saying "little"? Or is that "ickle"?

I'm very disappointed how long it took for my typo to get noticed.

Chip flavours are better in Canada. It's the one snack food we do better than the USA. I don't even like dill pickle or ketchup but there are just so many options!

Also a lot of the youtubers I follow in Japan talk about candy they can't get at home. Things like sour patch kids and other American candies tend to be hard to find in Japan.

I was going to mention candy but the standard candy you can get at a Japanese 7/11 isn't any different than in NA. They don't have the same brands and there's far less variety but the candy isn't much different. You can also get Sour Patch Kids and the like at international stores.

My favorite potato chip flavor is Southern Biscuits and Gravy. Is it up in Canada?

If that is a real flavor, Stanta take note.

Apparently, they are real, but they might be hard to find...

Which brand? I’ve seen similarly named bags but can’t recall exactly.

Us Brits do an excellent line in roast-dinner flavoured crisps/chips.

Roast Lamb and Mint was always my favorite, but the chicken & stuffing and the roast beef & mustard ones are ace too. Smoked ham and pickle, not so much.

They have it at the QFC in Seattle. Lays brand. For a few days they had ketchup potato chips that I really like which was odd because I don't like ketchup.

I cannot honestly tell if you're being serious or not.

What was the song/artist of the intermission music on this weeks podcast(648)?

That is a smart way to approach any given online conversation with me.

But in this instance, I'm as serious as getting the dust off the lamb and mint crisps in your eye. Which is to say, they're goddamn delicious.

Lay's is the brand that had the biscuit and gravy flavor.

You might ask over in the podcast thread. Usually they are tunes created by podunk I think.

Where does one watch Star Wars these days? I've got a 5 year old in need of educatin'.

Machete order, natch. Any of the streaming services have 'em?

Nope, you'll have to buy, borrow, or steal them. OT + prequels collection is $100. They can't even be rented from Amazon or iTunes.

Or Google play.

Disney Movie Club members can get each trilogy on Blu-ray for $23.

Wait until Disney launches their service. They should all be on there, even the first one that Disney didn't hold the rights to.

Good Plan B, Clock.

Plan A is to email all my local buddies and ask if anyone can lend me DVDs.

Library may have the 6 bluray set with all sorts of extra stuff. I've got some older DVDs too but I borrowed that for some of the special features (like the documentary on the 501st Legion in the Rose Parade).

Solution found - within a minute, I had an offer from a friend locally.

Still bothers me that the OT Blurays are only available as the “meddled” editions

Thanks guys, I'll check next time I go shopping. I'm sure I would have been able to find it at the time, especially since I'm just across the border in Abbotsford.

Lays biscuits and gravy is super dope!! Trader Joe’s has all kinds of amazing food that you can’t get at other stores. Does Japan have Trader Joe’s? I’m guessing they don’t. Of course most of the best Trader Joe’s products are seasonal. And many are perishable. Dill Pickle pop corn is probably the most unique thing I’ve ever found there. Delicious!

I need roast beef & mustard chips. Why do I not have roast beef & mustard chips?

Seriously though, that's the outfit I get a giant box of delicious treats shipped over from every year or so. Been using them for years, can recommend.

Question for the grammar nazis - if I'm finishing a sentence with quoted text, does the period at the end go after for before the closing quotation mark.

e.g.

So I said to him "hey, that's my car you're peeing on".

vs

So I said to him, "hey, that's my car you're peeing on."
