*All these are just from random pics pulled off of Pintrest by the way, just used for the purposes of practice.

My fear is committing to doing X numbers of extra things per month while I'm also trying to get through my honours degree course.

In case you weren't aware you can also do your patreon such that people only pay when you post a new thing. (I follow a few artists that do "X per song.") So if it ends up needing to be sporadic you wouldn't have to feel like people are "wasting" monthly patreon money when you don't have time to produce something new.

I was not aware of that! Thanks. I'll look into it when I get a spare minute.

I worked for months on my first video tutorial. So if you use Photoshop, are curious about Vanishing Point, and don't mind if instructions come from an anthropomorphic cat, I got something that might not bore you.

FaceRig for the win! Nice work. I bookmarked it for watching later this week.

As an aside, did you have any issues getting your voice to sync with the FaceRig character? I tried to make a tutorial with it once and I had quite a bit of difficulty syncing voice with video.

Thanks Godzilla! You must have been that sub that came in overnight. Hey, I wrote a more thorough response at this thread because it turns out I got long-winded and I don't want to thread-jack.

New battlestation setup!

Looking good. Is there a theme to the patch collection, or just cool patches?

INKTOBER Tiem again!

Originally supposed to be police/military patches but it slowly just became "what ever I find that looks cool"

Day 2 - "Knight of Shadow"

Nice tiara.

I made my sweater:

Fantastic! It looks great

Sweater looks great! Love that color.

I am sometimes tempted to learn to knit for the sweaters and socks! I crochet so we have lots of afghans, dishcloths, and I've been branching out to amigurumi. Nice thing is that gauge doesn't matter like it would otherwise.

I'm impressed!

Nice!!! Time for fall and winter!!!

Bad connection....

Wow, that pattern is gorgeous.

The pattern was originally published in Twist Collective, and is available there and on Ravlery.

Yarn is 100% wool, Plymouth Homestead.

Navy is a good color for me, but it was a challenge to knit -- hard to see the stitches well enough if the room isn't very well lit.

I'll ditto what others have said. The color and pattern are fantastic. I love the inner/outer mix of the sleeves.
And those of us who don't knit wouldn't even have considered the challenges of color and lighting conditions, but heaps of kudos to you for powering through it!

Awesome work, Katy! I'm getting myself back into knitting with a simple scarf for Mr. Dragon. Might start a sweater for my next project. It's been a goal for a while to knit a cabled sweater like that, they're so neat!

I haven't posted in here in like, over a month, so here's a work in progress illustration for my honours degree project this year...

So far it's taken me well over 10 hours, and it's still not even close to being finished

Bubububububut it wouldn't be your work unless it had tentacles and/or horns and take place on another planet

With AR everything can have tentacles and/or horns and look like it's on another planet!

The project is set in a world where people can physically explore other peoples dreams so, all of those things can be true!

I made another hat:

Pattern is partly from a hat I'd made previously, and partly my own selection of motifs.
Yarn is Plymouth brand DK weight.

Not a "picture" but I've got a bunch of new stuff I've made that is now available.

First of all, I went to MAGFest this last weekend, and competed in the demoparty. I placed 2nd in the chiptune category with my song, Confluence.

I also wrote the soundtrack to our group's graphics demo for the event, and it (MAGI) placed first:

Finally, I have a friend who is working on a platformer game called BingBangBoom, and I wrote 4 level songs and the menu music for it.

You can listen to them all on my Bandcamp page.

been too long since i posted something here, so this is an updated version of my D&D character Lilliana (Tiefling, Arcane Trickster)

Fantastic. Really great sleevy glove things (technical term.)
