[News] Post a D&D Picture

Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.

If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.

And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.

Spoiler:

*Honestly I find this to be a distinction without difference.

Sure but don't use it as a shield either.

"you can't call me a Nazi just because i want to exterminate minorities, I only have one eye and wear an ostentatious eye-patch!!"

Abelism is bad. Pointing out this garbage person's awful beliefs isn't abelism?

Also, the jokes about is eye-patch were on SNL, which means that he was involved in the writing of the sketch he participated in and had an opportunity to veto the joke if he found it offensive. He clearly played the situation to his advantage for exactly the responce he's gotten.

I think (I could be wrong) but the jokes happened previous to him coming on the show.. that was the apology part when they invited him to be on.

Oh really? I thought it was when he was on. I'm a little divided then. Bad taste going after the fact that he's blind in one eye without him in the room, but does that blindness also make a deliberate fashion choice off limits? I don't know.

Is that an actual question or rhetorical?

No, pointing out a disabled person's awful beliefs isn't ableism.

I did a bad job of stating this when we first talked about this sh*t heel but I think there is a place for a well made joke specifically about his choice of ostentatious eye patch, rather than making fun of him for losing an eye.

When a former leader of Canada has nothing nice to say...

A concrete wall is actually a surprisingly astute analogy for a Republican safety net.

You know... it really is. Almost gives me hope that this whole administration is still one big long troll intended to dismantle the GOP.

All federal employees have the same safety net available to them that Trump used: sell out yourself and your country to Russia.

f*cking amazing!

I guess the Deep Fake API isn't mature.

^^^ The worst part is that could be a campaign poster that would win him votes with his base.

Yeah, but that's just a temporary thing. They're going to strike it rich any day now.

Only if you hurt enough of the right people...

I hope one day our grandkids’ kids will hear the nursery rhyme Humpty Dumpty and automatically assume it was written about that awful President that America used to have.

Dumb or dishonest or both? Either way this is an elected official:

EDIT: I just read through the last couple weeks of his tweets and I’m leaning towards “dumb.”

Weirdly, all of those things also happened in a parallel universe where the President didn't bail on the Senate's bill at the last minute because Ann Coulter didn't like it.

language, Clock. Don't use to A.C. words on here please.

But if I just said "that mainstream racist and ghoulish horror of a human being" then you'd need me to narrow that down.

I really wish that every time someone went and blamed the shutdown on the Democrats, someone else would jump in and point out that the shutdown actually started almost two weeks before the Democrats took the House, and it happened because the three groups of Republicans (House, Senate, and Individual 1) couldn't all agree on one plan. If they had all gotten on board with the same plan, the government would still be open, and the Democrats couldn't have done a thing to stop them.

Which scans better, Trumpty Dumpty or Humpty Trumpty?
