Boy, imagine all the additional hate on Kamara if Mitrovic hadn't rescued FFC.

Thank. You. God.

I was watching the score line as Liverpool played Arsenal and thought, "Well, a 0-0 draw wouldn't be the worst thing." Then Bang! The score changed. How awesome is that! 18th place now, only one point behind Southampton.

Ya I dunno.

Spurs losing to Wolves is a bigger catastrophe than Arsenal losing to the current Liverpool at Anfield.

I'll be more concerned if Arsenal don't bounce back. Still optimistic for top 4.

They won and I'm ready to throw him into the Thames.

Also, LOL did the United players loathe Mourinho.

The Ole Solskjaer flat track bully tour continues with Newcastle and then Reading.

Then it's off to White Hart Lane and we'll see what's up.

Sigh. Well, to be honest, it's not like I didn't see that coming.

A point off safety, and I know I've said it before, I absolutely didn't have Fulham here after 21 games.

The good news is, the bottom 7 are so tight that back-to-back wins would probably put us several points clear of relegation.

Of course, that'd require two wins.

In the grand scale, it's completely unimpressive, yes. But considering where they had been, another solid W in a row is nothing to sneeze at.

Meanwhile, I've got my fingers crossed for Mr. Pulisic, but I'm not 100% sure the move to Chelsea will work out for him.

EDIT: Also, Huddersfield are screwed.

Chelski needed Pulisic today, not six months from now!

Well Huddersfield, it's been a pleasure having you in the Premiership but I don't think they'll be there next season. Neither will Newcastle if Ashley doesn't get his cheque book out and he has no intention of doing that.

Chelsea need to start paying attention, but as Abramovic doesn't really seem to be that bothered any more, I wonder if this is the beginning of some longer term decline for them? I get distinctly odd vibes from them at the moment. Hazard will definitely be off to Real at the end of the season if that keeps up.

As for Man U - they might catch Chelsea at this rate. Who knows?

Wonder where Rafa will end up next.

And Abramovic's looking to sell Chelsea, so who knows what's going to happen there, eventually.

I'm taking off work tomorrow afternoon to watch Man City and Liverpool. Talk about a huge match. Liverpool has the potential to stretch out to a daunting lead, or Man City can close things right up. Recent form dictates a Liverpool edge, but playing at Etihad might even things out for Man City.

It’s going to be quite a match I think. City will have to come at Liverpool as they need a to win the game, which should slightly play into Liverpool’s hands. I think they’ll come at Liverpool hammer and tongs and Liverpool will hope to repeat what they did second leg against them in the champions league quarter-final last year.

I have no idea which way it’ll go. If Liverpool win I think the psychological damage to City would be enough to make Liverpool the firm favourites for the title, not least because I think Pep will be told to win the Champions League instead. I know the fans don’t mind that much, but the owners do.

If City win then I think it won’t immediatly impact Liverpool, but it sure won’t help. It might all be too much by the end of the season if Klopp feels he has to win something regardless and pushes for Prem, CL and even the FA cup to be sure. It could be another glorious/ignominious failure, depending on your point of view.

It’ll probably end up a scoring draw of some description. Looking forward to seeing the game but boy I’m nervous now.

I told my Liverpool friend that I'm hoping for a 5-5 draw.

Well, as they say in Spain, Hay Liga ("We have a league").

Exciting game!

That was a super fun match to watch! Wow!

And ... 11 millimeters! Amazing!

If City win the Premier League by a point, it could be the biggest 11 millimeters in Premier League history.

Well, having digested the game a little I can say that it was a little disappointing in the end. I thought City were good for their win - just - but that Liverpool certainly weren’t at their best. I suspect that the impact of victory will be greater for City than the impact of defeat will be for Liverpool.

Company should have been sent off, Mane was unlucky with that shot that hit the post and Stone’s goal line clearance from Salah’s follow up was quite good (OK, it was great last ditch defending)

In the end though Liverpool are still 4 points clear, and I think City have harder challenges ahead this season. The Man U games (both at Old Trafford) suddenly look like they might well be extremely important to the run in.

FA cup 3rd round weekend this weekend so a break is probably what both teams need. I can’t see Liverpool fielding a full strength side against Wolves so I suspect we’ll lose that game too.

One of my biggest takeaways was to once again marvel that Low didn't think Sane was good enough for the World Cup squad.

I swear to God, if Fulham doesn't beat Oldham with at least a little ease tomorrow........

Oh dear. Leeds also went out but that's what we wanted, all about promation for us now, hopefully we can snapped up a goalkeeper, winger and maybe a defender in this transfer window. That said some kids getting their chance at the moment, the best been Clarke.

You could be Leicester going out to Newport.

I really don't get Leicester's thought process towards the cups this year, they got through to the semi final of the league cup and played the second team, they have nothing to play for now they are out of the FA Cup by playing the second team again. Oh great, you go get 7th in the League...

I'd take their situation in a heartbeat because Leicester are not also staring down the barrel of relegation.

@onewild: what’s the deal with this Bamford fellow, is he just made of glass?

uuuugghhh lovren injured

Liverpool were going to have a wobble, so now we get to learn about if they're actually up for the title challenge.

You did see the team we fielded last night yes? That wasn’t a wobble, it was a calculated gamble by Klopp and a chance to check out some of the youngsters. I’m kinda disappointed we did make more of a go of it, but all things considered it’s not the end of the world. We’ll see how we go against Brighton at the weekend.

Yeah I don't particularly care about the result at all. It's just how thin we are now at centre back due to injuries.
