Do Just Dance games ever go on sale? I'm looking for one on Switch for my daughter, and 2017, 2018 and 2019 are all full price, and used copies aren't much cheaper.

Ask and ye shall receive

$25 for 2019 version at Amazon

Top banana, thanks

Those games are fantastic, I highly recommend all of them. $5 is a little nuts unless it's a lot bigger than the iOS version but there's always a switch tax.

I'm not sure if it is still active but google sent out $2 credits a week or so ago. It will be ending soon if it hasn't already.

For two dollars, what the heck, I'll see how it is on my tablet.

Distant Worlds is $8 on GOG.

AND WORTH EVERY PENNY.

Starlink Digital Deluxe version is $40 on the Nintendo eshop right now.

Wow that's tempting. Been hearing digital is the way to go anyway and the toys are worthless.

But apparently a good game in there, better than No Man's Sky.

But.... Starfox ship!

I plan on jumping back in after wrapping up Octopath Traveler. I bought Starlink on launch day for 20% off (in Canada). Tomorrow it's 70% off. I've only put in a couple hours. Oh well

After having no intention of buying this game, Kit and I were in a Game Stop I ended up getting it on the Switch. I kept it for a day and returned it. I had a bug where I couldn't leave the first planet and also read more about the game and realized how much less of a product I had after purchasing the physical game. I have no nostalgia for Star Fox so didn't feel the need to own the toys. That being said, the ship was kinda cool.

Later, I ended up buying the digital copy of the game. I had it clearly in the "Pretty OK, and fun" category after getting a few hours past where I was stuck because of the earlier bug. As I played it more and got further a long, it got a little harder and there was a little more to the game than what was initially there. I like the on-planet "flying" and even the space flying and combat is decent.

I haven't played it in a while, but I did enjoy it when I was playing it. I will go back to it at some point and I'm not at all regretful that I bought the digital version. Split screen co-op is fun.

Fanatical has all of the X games except X4 in a bundle for $20.

Worth it, or should I save my money and get X4?

GoG is currently giving away SOMA for free.

Email says spend $15 and get Everspace for free.

Don't forget to connect you steam account to get your steam games on gog.

Super Meat Boy currently free on the Epic store

New free twitch games are out. Hyper Light Drifter is the highlight of the bunch.

Blades of Time is $3 on humble. Might be crap. Reviews are mixed. Looked fun to me though.

Hyper Light Drifter, Republique, Orwell seasons 1 & 2, and Bomber Crew.

And the Devolver Digital bundle is still valid until Jan 31.

X4

Waiting for patches to X4 is the way to go anyway.

Folks, remember you still have a couple of days to come post your GOTY list right over here!!
All those games you got real cheap? Come sing their virtues so they can get a few more sales.

Ha! Like anyone actually plays the games they get on sale.

We were supposed to do that? I thought they just tally up the number after we die and have it engraved on our tombstone.

Your tombstone: Pepperoni, sausage, and 733 Steam games.

That odd specificity made me go check.

...It's actually combo.

Heads up!

What Remains of Edith Finch will be free on the Epic Games Store next week

The Epic Games Store has revealed its next free game, in the form of Giant Sparrow's high-regarded What Remains of Edith Finch. The game will be available free from the store between January 10-25, and follows similar offers for Subnautica and Super Meat Boy (the latter is still available, in case you've yet to snap it up).

Mark your calendars.

Out of all the so-called "walking simulators", Edith Finch was far and away my favourite and worth full price to me, so if you can put up with yet another launcher on your PC, I would recommend it.

Other than Firewatch, it's probably the most accessible walking sim for traditional gamers. Even if you've been put off by the genre before, I'd suggest taking a look.

Huh. Another one I don't have.
