Thank you Stanta for everything. Just what I asked for. I love it all and you are very gracious.

Shipping magiks accomplished. I hope they survive and it doesn't spoil.

Dear Stanta,
What a perfect first volley! How did you know Alpaca is among my favorite fibers and that blue is one of the fav colors?!?

Pics coming as soon as we can figure out how to link Imgur posts...

Hey, sorry about not having a letter. I was trying to get it out in time and completely blanked. I’m glad you like it. Branson isn’t super exciting but it is Vegas for the very old. Those taffies are fresh made and should be holiday flavors. Figured the socks could give you the advantage and make sure to nudge Cptdomano into the wall for me.

We do have a Racing Dorks practice coming up, if Cptdomano is there I will be sure to take him out.

The mug is great. I like to collect mugs from different locations, but since I only travel once maybe twice a year I don't have too many. I've found a new way to get mugs from around the world.

The taffies were delicious. They didn't last the night.

Am I the only one concerned by what lurks behind that cabinet door left ajar?

It's the thing from every house wife's nightmare....unorganized plastic containers.

So I have now opened everything from the oh so very generous St.Hillary.
What I have learned is that everything thinks I do nothing but read/watch Daredevil, play Overwatch, and eat myself fat. Well that's pretty much true and St.Hilary was more than willing to work with that.

I figured those were at least the safe options, and who doesn't love treats full of sugar and butter? I'm glad nothing broke, I was so worried about the bread and that cookie jar surviving the trip.
I hope you and yours have the happiest of holidays!

Out for delivery!

It's not! That's just a new lawnmower blade!

Same.

Out for delivery.

Just ran home thinking there was something here from my Stan - and it was just a shirt I ordered for my dad.

Dear Stanee, I am told your gift will arrive tomorrow.....

I just got the MOST amazing package from Paleocon (sorry, are we outing givers here?)

Angry Rabbit cycling Jersey
A new Pilot fountain pen!
A Rhodia notebook!
Cool Van Gogh guitar picks!

My family is concerned I'm having an affair because the package seemed AWFULLY tuned to my interests. Thanks so much!!!

Secret Stan Part the Second has arrived! I always ask for something interesting from your home area. Got a beautiful Texas Cookbook! First recipe to be made will be Migas as that is the page I opened to Still working on the photo thing. We can't figure out why they won't upload.

Glad it got to you.

Btw, tell your family that you overshare on the GWJ podcast.

I really hope you didn't make your girls do an unboxing again.

Yay! Glad you like the book and the wool! My mom just came back from a trip to Machu Picchu and brought me some alpaca socks. They were so fantastic and soft I felt like everyone needed some. You should have one more gift arriving soon. Enjoy!

A mysterious package arrived and I sit here in the dark in gleeful anticipation staring at it. Our power went out so I'm going to wait until we have adequate light to open the contents and get some pictures.

So excited!

Dearest Stantee, I hope you like my simple gift. Though there are many miles between us, I hope the warmth of my Trichy-Claus spirit is evident in what I have passed along. <3

aw maaaaan. Got all excited 'bout some packages that got delivered today, but it was just stuff I'd ordered for xmas presents finally showing up.

I mean, that's good - 'cause i'll need those next week, but still...

Quality thank you Michael, very generous of you! Simple yes, but also ideal. I shall update you with how I decide to curate

Just a note to say my victim has received their gift, posted photos and appears to have been pleased with my giftings... at some point over the past month! Like a Stanja... job done. x

I feel your pain, sister.

Dearest Victim, I have been informed by unmentional creatures from beyond space and time that your gift should be arriving today or tomorrow. Happy Holidays!

Oh, my Stanta...

I just received a couple of packages. In them I received GOODIES!

Batman: Almost Got 'Im card game (I must not be dead inside as it's awesome and welcomed!)
Beanie Baby murderbutt which the children refuse to stop cuddling so I can have a turn.
Heat-resistant soldering mat with recessed places for putting parts, helping hands, etc. Maybe I'll stop burning tables!
Hakko 599B soldering iron tip cleaner. I can throw away my nasty 30-year-old sponge!
Irwin Vise-Grip Wire Strippers The first wire strippers I've owned which aren't a knife and, with their lifetime warranty, probably the last. One less way I'll injure myself.

The geeky stuff seriously improves quality of life for my wife (and me) for the reasons noted above. It also arrived just in time to be used! This weekend Gavin (youngest) is receiving an LED Christmas Tree project from family in NC to put together before the holiday. We're going to have a lot of fun while he learns some very valuable skills.

Thank you, Stanta!
