Watching the Cap. Marvel trailer again they do go out of their wary to have us see her bleeding blue blood on numerous occasions so she obviously isn't human. The question for me is - is she a skrull implanted with a human's memories, or a Kree?

They say she's Kree like 20 seconds into the trailer.

Yeah, the conceit is that she was found (supposedly without memories) and the Kree trained/modified her into a Kree warrior but she has memories of her past life on Earth showing up.

Basically like the Inhumans from Agents of Shield, she’s just a lot more powerful because she was handmade by the Kree instead of leaving the transformation up to chance during the terrigen process.

Great story, incredible voice cast, but that animation... is something else...

Yeah. Watership Down is one of my favorite books ever, but that animation is rough. It looks like a PS2 game.

...I'll still watch it though.

I knew there was a reason I liked you.

Watership Down is probably the book I've reread more than any other book. Not that it is a long list, but Watership Down beats the others my a few multitudes.

I never read Watership Down, as the 70s adaptation really haunted me when I saw it at... 7? 8? This latest attempt looks like it lacks the style to pull off the imagery that has still stuck with me.

Just five more days until season 2 of Counterpart, the best TV show of the last year that you never heard of or watched. It takes one element from Fringe, identical worlds, and instead of a scifi show, they built an international spy thriller. And it is awesome.

So, seriously, add Starz to your Amazon Prime account and start watching now. Season one trailer.

Man, I just started watching season one, have only watched the pilot so far but damn if it wasn't great.

It not only holds up, it develops really, really well. If this had been on Netflix or HBO, we would be hearing about it so much more.

This is exactly my thought. Instead of terrifying rabbits they present samey bunnies.

SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE - Gotta Go clip

I love everything about that.

Is it just me or is the framerate of this making anyone elses head hurt? I don't think it is actually a framerate issue I think it is that they decided to use an inconsistent hurky jerky animation style for flavor, but it is messing with me.

Once Upon A Deadpool | NICKELBACK | 2018

Fine! I'll go see Deadpool... again! Are you happy?

I really hope they don't put all the funny bits in the trailers.

Godzilla: King of the Monsters - Official Trailer 2

I am so in on this. The first Bluray I bought was the first one* (okay mainly because I needed a Bluray to test AV systems at work and it was like $4 in a bargain bin but I have watched it a couple of times). I have always been a Godzilla fan though. I have had a Godzilla wallpaper and text tone on my phone since before I owned a smartphone

* The first one of the new big budget Hollywood Godzilla films.

It looks like it has 11 in it. That is pretty cool. I may see it just for her.

It also looks like it goes to 11, so I'm excited.

Really, are they using every Godzilla monster ever put on film? Impressive.

There is precedent.

In order:
Ghidorah, the Three Headed Monster
Invasion of the Astro Monster
Destroy All Monsters
Godzilla vs Gigan
Godzilla vs Megalon
Godzilla vs Mechagodzilla
Terror of Mechagodzilla
Godzilla vs King Ghidorah
Godzilla, Mothra and King Ghidorah: Giant Monsters All Out Attack
Godzilla: Final Wars

I left out the Heisei and Millennium period movies where Mechagodzilla is the third kaiju because it was built and piloted by humans, but left in Godzilla vs King Ghidorah because in that instance Mechagodzilla was built in the future and piloted by a Futurian. I left out All Monsters Attack because f*ck that clip show bullsh*t.

11 appearing in this movie as a crossover character would not entirely surprise me. It's the upside down on steroids.

They left out King Kong, because he's in the next film.

They also left of Son of Godzilla for the same reason. King Kong and Godzilla aren't really fighting they are having monster sex. They give birth to Son Of Godzilla. Godzilla refused to give the child Kong's name because she didn't want people thinking her kid was named after Donkey Kong.

King Kong was pissed over this and decided to fight Godzilla over custody over Son of Godzilla. Many people were on Kong's side because Son of Godzilla was a pretty stupid name and narcissistic. The big fight turned into more monster sex. They realized they loved each other. Nine months later Donkey Kong Jr was borned. Godzilla decided have a child named after a video game wasn't so bad and kind of cool. King Kong was pissed though because he wanted to name the King Kong Jr.

The two decided to breakup and see other monsters. King Kong has warrant out for his arrest for failing to pay child support and for destroying the multiple cities. The ACLU is defending Kong in court. They say Kong isn't responsible for the cities damaged because he was kidnapped from Skull Island and treated like a slave to do tricks for humans. The ACLU had no comment on the child support issue.

It should be noted that Godzilla also has a warrant out for her arrest for public nudity , child endangerment, arson, mass murder and entering the US without a visa. Many people want her deported back to Japan but her children are American citizens since they were born in the US.

One important note is that many people think Godzilla is completely innocent of any crimes. They say she was just protecting the world from monsters at the time the cities were destroyed. I personally seen Godzilla kill a giant moth that was trying to eat my good suit. Some has said this giant moth was friendly and a protector do children. I don't buy it, my suit wasn't attacking children. Godzilla is a hero in my eyes. I will also have you know there are youtube videos of the army attacking Godzilla even when she was unarmed and had her little arms up. The army are the real monsters.

Anyway you left out Son of Godzilla.

God damn, Fellowes ran out of good stories to tell part way through series 2 and stories at all by 4, I shudder to think how he justified a movie.

...and again with the fragments that go on too long...

That's pretty much when we noped out. Sounds like we made the right call.
