[News] Post a D&D Picture

Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.

If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.

And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.

Once you apply the universal law of "both sides are the same" we know that all of those numbers should be about equal. Since the blue people are better at hiding their crimes we thus know that they are WORSE. Someone less clever than me may wonder why I was able to use the universal constant of "both sides are the same" to prove that Democrats are worse, but screw you.

what we really need to know is how many times they wore a tan suit.

Yeah, I'm south of Raleigh so Durham is close to an hour drive here, so we don't usually make it up that way, but someday maybe I'll have a chance to check it out. There's also a German bakery that is always at the Raleigh farmer's market that now has a brick and mortar store in Cary, and they're awesome (but no donuts).

I'll have the check that out, do you remember what its called?

Annelore's German Bakery

I've only had the stuff at the farmer's market (and it's really good), still need to try out the new place.

A whole bunch of schoolkids went "on strike" today in Australia to protest the government's lack of action on climate change. The new Prime Minister and his cabinet have not been particularly popular as it is, and it didn't help matters when he said “What we want is more learning in schools and less activism in schools.”

Some signs from the protest:

My favourite one, linked for some NSFW language

That last one is my favourite too - very Australian. These protests give me glimmer of optimism, which is pretty rare for me these days. Proud of those kids. Hopefully this combined with the Liberal party's recent problems might have a few of them reconsidering their plans.

I grew up in Dunkin's home town. They used to be much better before they switched to "extended life" donuts and central baking. There are still a few locations that do local baking, and they are glorious. One right near my parents house has been the highest grossing location in the world for a long time, so they have the sales to justify local baking and ensure that any donut you buy is fresh. Any time I visit them, I make sure to stop at "The Good Dunkin Donuts"

I drove through Canton yesterday (please pity me for having to go on during evening rush hour), and thought about this post. I wanted to know which store in Canton has the good doughnuts. Then I dreamt I found it last night, but the lines were way too long, and they ran out of materials before I could order.

It's in South Weymouth. I have been in there at 2am and the place was busy. I saw at least 4 different jurisdictions of police car in the parking lot, and I'm pretty sure there was a supervisor going over paperwork with an officer inside.

I’m trying to hunt down a source for this and can’t find one amid all the hits for subreddits and meme aggregators. I know I can sift through information and check myself but it would be neat to not have to.

Here's a Daily Kos community post that relies on Wiki's List of federal political scandals in the United States for the details.

The graphic is also attributed to a copypasta post/email from Kevin G. Shinnick, an actor IMDB says is best known for B 80s movies like Class of Nuke 'Em High. From his Facebook, Shinnick seems very political (left), so it could be him.

Obliged.

Big, Trump?

I guess they haven't yet made leaps great again.

(although on second thought, I have a feeling I'm repeating a joke you've already made)

From The Nib, which is usually worth checking out.

Don't worry, it's going to be part of his "Three, Maybe Four Year Plan."

If the document wasn't fully justified, that would hold more weight.

A comedic article full of delightful pics:

I don't get it Mix...

The court filings on Friday refer to Individual-1 after becoming President, it's pretty obvious who Individual-1 is.

It's also a sardonic reference to all the jerks who said Trump was going to make some kind of pivot and suddenly become presidential and take the job seriously.

It's also probably funnier if you know that she's been Tweeting "Today is the day that Donald Trump finally became President." every day for quite a while now (as a parody of mainstream media falling all over themselves to declare him Presidential any time he doesn't throw a tantrum for over 20 minutes).

This didn't age well

Holy sh*t, is that real?

Michael Cohen when you go to jail for defrauding America and perjury you'll also owe one million dollars in back taxes.
