The Bills have cut Nathan Peterman. The poor guy.

Highest career INT% of any QB pre-merger, min. 1500 pass attempts: 7.9%

Highest career INT% of any QB post-merger, min. 1500 pass attempts: 6.0%

Highest career INT% of any QB post-1990, min. 1500 pass attempts: 4.1%

Nathan Peterman career INT%, 130 pass attempts: 9.2%

Spoiler:

The post-1990 QB is Trent Dilfer, FRESNO STATE

If the Bucks end up getting rid of White Donte, no one's ever going to want to be mentioned on ESPN's High Noon ever again.

That was a terrible PI call.

Damn, that was an ugly ending on both final drives. Good game though.

Are the Rams considered the home team for that game? If not, and they get 9 home games, stuff could get weird.

They are. So it won't. No more than usual anyway.

So it's moving to LA and the possible impetus is...

"An NFL game is getting relocated this week."

"Because of the California fire, right?"

"No, actually, they're moving it as close to the fires as they can."

There is no better metaphor for the return of the NFL to LA.

Rams still belong in LA, fite me nerd.

Chargers move still absolutely indefensible.

I understand that Le'Veon Bell has decided not to sign his Pittsburgh tender.

Given how cheaply and completely he's been replaced:

(1) Is a textbook illustration of a Pyrrhic victory?
(2) Is this likely the end of Bell's career?
(3) What does this mean for the running back market generally?

I never understood what he expected to happen. I thought he should have been pretty happy to take his $15 million this year and get his next contract or get franchised for another $15+M. I doubt he is going to get that much now but I do think some team will sign him to a 2 or 3 year contract but nothing close to the 5 years $70 million that the Steelers offered. It would be pretty funny if the Ravens or Bengals signed him.

Poor Browns. It's almost as if they are in a division of their own.

Probably. It's unlikely he will recoup his lost 2018 earnings in his next contract.

(2) Is this likely the end of Bell's career?

No, he will get pursued and signed in free agency.

(3) What does this mean for the running back market generally?

It demonstrates that nobody is going to pay top salary AND trade compensation for a running back.

He wanted more guaranteed money and the Steelers wouldn't give it to him so here we are.

Browns don't need him, they got Chubb.

And the Bengals got Mixon.

He'd make a nice Raven.

It's Wednesday and we're still here. I've been spoiled. Or maybe this is throwback week...

I think Bell gets more than the amount of money the Steelers were offering in guarantees. It’s not about the $14M it’s about taking the $14M and then getting hurt and thus no more $$
