The new NFL is here to stay, for now. Passing numbers are still high and people are watching again. The Patriots, naturally, are setting records even in Tom Brady's 27th year playing in the NFL:
Patriots set an NFL record tonight, becoming the first team in the Super Bowl era to not punt or commit a penalty in an entire game

Embracing the new NFL means throwing to the open man who then burns everyone for a bunch of yards. This was best exemplified in Week 7 by none other than Brock Osweiler who had his best game ever, really. He threw for 380 yards with 268 of those yards coming after the catch. I did the math, that's over 70% of his yardage. Nuts. Al Davis would be proud of the Fins. You get fast people and you give them the ball. Simple.
Speaking of the Crypt Keeper, let's check in on how his ol team is trying to keep it old school by shipping out more of their players and bringing in ... someone worse? Gruden's tenure has been a sh*t show so far (sorry Marshawn, you deserve better) and the most exciting thing that's happened on that team is this:
Some possible personal perspective from #Raiders DE Bruce Irvin? "We lost, but I've got a beautiful wife I get to go home to, boy. I'm going to try to make some babies, man."

I, literally, have nothing else to say after that. Go make some babies, people.
