The "green zone" field overlay can go the hell away.

Jason Peters is a ferocious mountain of a man. I like to watch him on every play and replay. I'm constantly amazed how he can move.
The eagles look terrible
How is Thursday Night Football crap even in week 1?
Teams don't have enough time to prepare with a short year.

The answer is in your question: Thursday.
That's the other reason I quit fantasy. Thurs games ruin everything.
Atlanta red zone offense blows it all night.
It's like people didnt watch the playoff game last year.. this was pretty much more of the same.. Neither team really learned from that game last year.

Yeah, so much for Atlanta working on their red zone offense. Sarkisian is gonna be gone by midseason. Clearly his playcalling isn't up to par.
At least the Eagles have their stacked D.
The red zone performance made all the difference. Atlanta was definitely moving the ball better most of the night.
Ha ha Falcons. Now if Carolina can beat Dallas and TB can crush the Saints, it will have been a very good Week 1.
Gotta do something about those 18-12 games, tho. The first 50 or so minutes of last night's game were not so hot.

It's the new reality of the NFL. Week 1 games are usually filled with anomalies (like bottom feeders destroying playoff-caliber teams), but this year should be even more weird since many teams sat their starters for the vast majority of preseason to avoid injury. We're going to see a lot of rust being shaken these first two weeks, or more, really.
Maybe come playoff time people will be playing well.
So.....we getting a Week 1 Thread? Regular Season Picks?

My guess is someone has to take over for Milkman since he is not into the NFL anymore.
Have to run the ball to have a 100 yard rusher.
Lions were 7th in offensive scoring last year. I don't think they're missing much. Having Stafford throw the ball 200 times a game is how their offense works. They need more of an impact player in their receiving corps, but a rotational backfield is fine.
After thinking on this a bit I'll say you're wrong. The Lions' run game hasn't been bad, it's been terrible. They don't need a 100 yard rusher, but their lack of one is emblematic of their issues on offense because they're so bad at running it actively hurts their pass game. It has nothing to do with RBBC and everything to do with them being terrible in the run game. Jim Bob Cooter gets one more year to make the offense more efficient and then he's gone.
I'll just post here another Warren Sharp article cause that guy knows what's up.

Which is sad because somebody needs to write about the fact that Nathan Peterman is starting for the Bills this weekend and MMD is the perfect person to do that.
MMD probably would be a better QB than Peterman, too.

I swear the Bills drafted a QB high in the 1st round, but I guess not since they're starting 5-INT-Peterman. Clearly they don't have any other professional QBs on their team.
To be fair, I do think Peterman deserves a shot. He should never have been put in last year, let alone kept in after throwing multiple INTs. The fact they let him throw five was pure hubris from the coaching staff.
...sort of.
