UGH FINE, I will try a sniper assassin.

Yay!

I think I need to remap dodge. It seems super janky.

When I was using a gamepad, it was fine. I recently switched to mouse and keyboard (because eventually, I came to learn it's ultimately better) and also found it a bit janky. What's working better for me is "dodge to cursor", then I have one mouse button mapped to dodge forward, the other to reverse. I'm still getting the hang of it, but it's not bad.

Incoming event!

Looks like Nurgle is being followed by its three closest, bestest buddies.

EDIT I was going to go with it looks like Khorne is on the menu, but that joke is even too bad for me to use...

Had a very enjoyable co-op priority assignment tonight. Got some real nice gear out of it, and besides this one run we had to restart because we were invisible, it was fairly smooth sailing.

Oh, and my friend also did a lot of the work for our Cabal this week, and we're now level 2! Yay!

When does the cabal get to start unlocking perks in the tech tree?

Looking at it the appearance suggests a tier of nodes is unlocked on reaching a level. I am not sure if they have to be activated specifically or if they just turn on when opened.

Not certain what happened but after this last patch the appearance of my relic armor changed drastically.
Not complaining, mind you. It actually looks a lot cooler now. Way more detailed and I have a full helmet now instead of just a metal plate on the side of my head.

EDIT: and Emperor be damned! They changed the weapon skill keybinds again. I had just gotten used to the last change.

Sigh, I have to admit this one is…losing its luster for me. I might need a break. I just reached a level in the story where you drive a tank, which is BONKERS with keyboard and mouse, so I did some event missions, which were okay but meh. Feel like I’m spinning my wheels on that one, and kind of in general. Might be time for a break while they figure stuff out. Love 'em for trying so hard, but they need to work on bugs and balance before any more events.

Apparently the special missions for the event only spawn on the map infrequently. I have not seen one yet to know if it is different in any way.

Yeah, I've noticed that's a common complaint on the Steam forums.

Yyyuuuppp. I’ve moved on for the time being. It’s too limited and doesn’t pull me in the way other diablo-likes have.

Yeah, they need to work on a few things, such as bugs, balance and progression. I love them for making it as fun as it is despite these issues, bit I'm gonna put it back in the oven for a while.

So, for all of this game's faults, it has been inspiring.

Yeah, I’ve since started reading Abnett’s Eisenhorn series and it’s honestly a lot better than I was expecting.

I began reading that too! That and Ciaphas Cain: Hero of the Empire. Both are great for different reasons.

I applaud your choices. Do not forget the Ravenor series to follow up Eisenhorn and then finish the two series with Magos (the last Eisenhorn book). Finally you'd be denying yourself very good read if you didn't read Gaunt's Ghosts, a fantastic series revolving around an Imperial Guard unit.

I actually think Ravenor is better than Eisenhorn.

New patch today:

Kinda interesting tidbit:

Many Campaign Investigations got their Fate rewards reduced. A full playthrough of the Campaign will net around 700 less Fate now for a fresh character.
To compensate, Rank XP gain from Campaign Investigations has been increased by 50%. This is roughly the same amount of XP that players would have received from dumping their bonus Campaign Fate into Tarot missions, so Campaign leveling pace remains unaltered.

It also looks like the defend the Tech Priest mission in act 3 is easier, he now has 10k hp and regens health.

OTOH the relic armour I have been using had to 10% chance to deploy a rosarius shield on hit and now it is 2%.

OMG yay!

OMG booo!

Eh, I am not upset about the change to that particular relic trait. Frankly it was getting a little ridiculous being immune to damage for something like 30-40% of the time, thanks to how long the shield stayed in place. If anything it will just mean I will use my innoculator more often.

Double post, since I appently work east of mordor based on cell signal strength.

Ive made Veloxi the new Grandmaster of the Cabal since I am on sporadically these days

sh*t YEAH. Thanks man!

Boom, new patch, pretty big!

https://steamcommunity.com/games/527...

Updates to W40K: Inquisitor - Martyr have been released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client (in on-line mode) is restarted. Please also note that during maintenance, players will be unable to login.

New Feature - Warzone

The Warzone is now open at the Lacaon System!
There are 5 narrative Stages (with their own storylines), and each narrative Stage consists of 10 battles
After these stages, the Warzone Missions are unlocked with infinite levels
Minimum Power Rating: 1100
Further mission tiers unlock at 1200,1300,1400, and 1500 Power Rating
Battles have certain Hazards (challenge parameters), one is unlocked at the end of every Stage
Each zone within a Warzone map is closed by a gate that unlocks only after the room has been cleared
Different passive effects and world skills can be bought for each mission
Players gain Warzone XP contributing towards Warzone Levels
Each Warzone Level gives +1% Maximum HP, Suppression, and Damage for Warzone missions
In the Warzone you will be able to gain new rewards, collect Favours, unlock three passive and an active skill slot
Skill slots are gained by advancing your ranking in the Warzone, and these skills are only usable in the Warzone. Overall there are 20 passive and 4 active skills to choose from
Favours will be later used for summoning the Nemesys and for buying items from the Warzone Vendor (coming soon)

The following spells will not be interrupted by cutscenes anymore: Death Augury, Divine Shot, Foreboding, Precognition, Precognitive Dodge, Telekine Dome
Unholy Cathedral: Enemies won't drop loot anymore, and the maximum amount of enemies has been reduced
Unholy Cathedral: Increased reward quality at the end
When enemy groups are moving in formation, the slowest enemy type in the group is now moving faster, up to 150% of its normal speed
Trauma Control's damage reduction value was reduced from 20 to 5
Regenerative Bionics: halved healing from 3HP to 1.5HP per 10 Suppression (Tooltip fixed as well)

So I picked this up on Xbox one and I am really enjoying it so far. Not to far into the game yet so this might change once I finish with the story.

Wait, has this actually come out on consoles yet?
