Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr (Catch All)

So folks, our cabal isn't anywhere near doing this week's goals. Try to focus on that instead of the stupid world event.

If i got the pieces along the way that's great, but i'm just focusing on leveling. I'm just doing story missions when i play to level up with an occasional tarot.

I've been doing story missions with the occasional cabal mission if it's available. There's no way I'm doing the world event. Maybe the community can pull through, though.

I really hope they readjust the cabal missions and community events. At this point there's nothing to them. While there is a lot of content, it's running the same missions over and over again with no variables other than difficulty. This needed more modifiers to missions and system specific missions like the Chernoborg space station. I'm not willing to run the same content over and over again.

Is there a reliable way of generating Fate other than story missions? I've ran one taro mission and am at something like 300 Fate right now but having the most interesting missions locked behind a premium resource seems like really poor design. Especially since one mission costs 100 or 90 Fate. Lower than number by half and I'd be far more willing to spend it.

Everyone says doing story missions is the best, even going so far as making alts just to have them go through the story just for more fate.

Did it work right after quitting and restarting?

K, you might've been right. Whew.

I’ve had the same bug since the most recent patch- no amount of starting, restarting, verifying, or reinstalling seems to fix it.

Well, the animation still cuts out, but I'm now getting items at least.

What build are people going for/using? Right now I am focusing on a melee crit/bleed crusader build. I can also want to build a heat based ranged character, using Las weapons for general enemies and switching to inferno/melta weapons for the big guys.

Ranged crit with area damage on my assassin because the explosive shot on the sniper rifle is just so satisfying.

On my Psyker, all about AoE.

Psyker is AoE/Fire and my new joy is the melee Assassin and a crit build. With her built in movement ability i don't have spend points or slots on movement. Sooo deadly.

Melee assassin, somewhat crit/reduced CD build, so I can fire off the time slow more often. A little poison damage thrown in for the dots.

I have been using shields in my belt slot, but I am thinking of trying the personal teleporter.

I'm a little late to the party but I'm in.

What's the cabal status, any room left?

Yep

I played around with my level 4 psyker and assassin the other night and boy howdy am I going to have to adjust my play. I've gotten too used to literally jumping into the middle of large crowds with my crusader and just blowing them all away. With these guys if I get into a scrape with more than a few enemies at once it's a toss up on whether or not I come out alive. They're both still in the tutorial phase and I've had the psyker using the staff and the assassin using a sniper rifle and 2h sword. I just need to get back in the mindset of approaching each engagement far more carefully and picking off enemies from the edges before engaging the larger groups. Hello there cover, I'd almost forgotten you were there.

You guys are making me want to restart with a melee Assassin. Must hold firm... still having a good time with 2h axe murderer crusader...

I have not tried a crusader yet to compare, however I can say that as a melee assassin as Kehama indicates things can go sideways quickly.

Until you hit level 10 or 11 and get the cath sword. From that point forward i think i have died maybe 5 times...

My problem with the Cath sword is the limited mobility. Do you just stealth up to the opponents and swing away?

Assassins don't have limited mobility. They have the dodge roll. Best thing is that it's free. There's also points (i can't remember which tree, they all silly names) i've spent to give me a damage boost after each dodge.

That's for the really big rooms... normally i just right click my way to each boss. Hit 2, 1, tap, tap, and move on. Sometimes rinse/repeat on the really big bosses or if there's multiples in the room.

The #2 ability is an aoe so it does an awesome job in clearing out waves as well

I jumped into the Cabal when we were 18/20. If you guys want to boot me out please feel free. I do about 2-3 hours, about every day. But am playing it like a single player game so far. So there may not be a need for me to be in the group right now.

Really enjoying the vibe. It's a little clunky but still holds my interest.

Console version delayed again, no release date available and there hasn't been an announcement either. Might have to grab the PC version.

FWIW it plays very well with a controller.

No more Fate from Story missions?

Any room in Cabal? I'm playing regularly, just at a low level.

I've ran into some frustrating performance issues and really weird difficulty spikes/mission designs that have left me a lot less positive. I've also seen every enemy and area so there's nothing new coming at me. I'll still play but, for me, it really needs more and varied content to hold my attention.

I love the green accents on my handle. Paid top dollar. But it's so worth it, to complete my look.

Hm?

The giant skulls? Embedded in the floor of my spaceship? And the slave mind head I have to poke to open my closet?

Oh, don't mind those. This green handle tho.IMAGE(https://i.imgur.com/zZEWusu.png)

UGH FINE, I will try a sniper assassin.

You can modify the color schemes of weapons in the appearance tab of crafting, which I cannot recall if it is just unlocked at some point or if there is a node in the tech tree you have to purchase. It will cost you something like 5000 - 25000 cr depending on options.

And fitting with the Warhammer theme,

I think I need to remap dodge. It seems super janky.
