NFL 2018 Draft Thread

Chubb falls into a good situation lining up opposite Von Miller in Denver.

Oh hey, a trade.

Guess that 5th year option in Shane Ray isn't being picked up.

Josh Allen, FRESNO.

Best QB in the draft is going to be the 4th one taken. I don't get it.

He wore a f*ck Trump hat.

It's the same thing with Kaep.

I'm taking Denver's decision to not take a QB as unspoken acknowledgement that $wag Kelly will be the guy.

Oh snap! I completely forgot. Makes sense!

Kelly is a better QB than everyone but Rosen.

Roquan Smith will be great for Fangio's defense.

Chicago should take Rosen.

OAKLAND should take Rosen.

Niners probably taking Edmunds, Minkah, or maybe even McGlinchey.

EDIT: McGlinchey it is.

Niners should fleece Miami for the pick.

Cardinals jump up to #10 for Rosen, presumably.

NFC West QBs will now be Russell Wilson, Jimmy Garoppolo, Jared Goff, and Josh Rosen.

Bucs now assured of either Derwin James or Minkah Fitzpatrick. If this team could draft worth a crap in later rounds and build some depth, it'd be dangerous. But they can't, so never mind.

It's not quite Cam, Brees, Ryan and Winston , but that's a pretty good foursome. (It's probably dreamier bc Russ and Jimmy G.)

4 QBs in 10 picks and the best one still out there. Amusing.

Cleveland definitely doing a Cleveland pick for #1. Will enjoy the bust.

Unrelated: Someone needs to explain to me the Mayfield-to-Cleveland thing.

I mean, did they learn nothing from Manziel?

(That's rhetorical. Of course they learned nothing.)

Rosen has no time for on stage chit chat.

Explain? OK.

*ahem*

Browns.

Well, this has all fallen terrifyingly well for the Bucs, has it not? Everybody had Derwin James mocked to Tampa at #7, and we're getting him at #12 plus two bonus second-rounders.

Gotta get that Mark Barron 2.0.

Mark Barron is going to be the best player from the top 7 of the 2012 draft playing in the league this year.

No, really. I mean, presuming Luck doesn't play, it's Barron, Claiborne, Kalil, or the festering corpse of RGIII. Richardson and Blackmon are your other options.

DAMMIT I DON'T CARE IF HE'S GOOD WE NEEDED A SAFETY

ALSO FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK

and the NFL draft delivers.

Washington takes a 311 pound interior defensive lineman, and he looks tiny compared to the guy picked before him.

You may have wanted a DB but Vita Vea is a great get. Vea + McCoy. Wow.

There was a lot of velvet on that man.

Also:

I don't actually doubt that Vita Vea is a great player and he was a quality pick; it's just that there are certain times when need and BPA meet, and James seemed to be that. Vea has occasionally been mocked and I've watched a few clips of him, and he's a great player. I just want Chris Conte to be flung into the bay. Is that so much to ask? Maybe Vita Vea can sit on him. That would be OK.

Saints move up, give up a future 1st. Gotta be for Lamar Jackson.

EDIT: NOPE
