Very, very sold.Yup, same here.
Friend of mine even went for the 250$ tier (but I have kids so no).
Went for $250 myself.
I'm not judging, I wish I could do the same.
Myst to me was the why-would-I-play-that-when-Doom-exists mystery.

+1 except for me it was RPGs like Betrayal at Krondor and other Sierra adventure titles
I'd love to get a RealMyst VR.
So, I've only played the first two games (and RealMyst of course). I'm curious if the others are worth playing.

Yes.
Any other questions?
More seriously, the only one I haven't played is Uru. If you like the Myst and Riven game styles and puzzles, the rest are very similar, and continue the arching story on (yes, there is an overarching story through all 5 games).
I for one cannot wait to get my hands on them. I really want to replay them all.
Right there with you, Taharka. The pay off at the end of Almateria in Exile is one that made me squeal with joy, so I’m really looking forward to that!
Oh, also, VR Myst is Obduction. It's not quite as good, but it's good, and very, very Myst like. Which makes sense, since the developers are the same.
The Book 5 Yer a Wizard, Harry podcast kickstarter will be up today.

Oh, thought that one looked interesting. Didn't realize it was by Cyan.
One final plug for Earworm. It ends tonight at 9PM CDT and is less than $500 from funding. If you were planning on backing, please make sure to today. You really don't want to miss this game. It's the only party game where if someone were to say, "Hey! I'm having a party and we're going to play ," I would click Yes on the invite instead of Maybe aka No.
Earworm seems like a direct rip-off of a UK gameshow called Nevermind The Buzzc*cks, where musicians had to hum/make sounds to help fellow panellists guess what song they were imitating.
Hey, I know that guy in the video clip!

Somewhat but Earworm is better. And you can play rather than just watch! Hooray for interactive media!
They’re all ripoffs of Name That Tune from the 1950s to 1980s so therefore aren’t worth pursuing and all owe their revenues to that company.

Luckily, you can't copyright game mechanics, otherwise there would be chaos!

You can't use dice! We hold that patent!
Actually, dice someone could have, since it's a physical device and not a game mechanic, but the patent would have expired thousands of years ago.

Unless Disney owned it!
Or you patent "Dice, but on a computer".
Interesting legal analysis about being a Kickstarter backer. This is focused on the Robotech debacle, but it has broader application.
Ironically, "This video is unavailable."
Huh. It says "This video is no longer available due to a copyright claim by David W M Simpson."
Let's try this again, video that I posted above is back up:
I'm thinking I'll be backing this one.
