Of course, I can't talk about Jags jerseys without pointing out that the expansion era jerseys were perfect and needed no drastic changes.

Gosh, a Florida team changing perfect jerseys to something ugly for the sake of pointless change? What are the odds.

Between the Jaguars dumping the two-tone helmets, the end of Color Rush uniforms, and the Titans changing away from the godawful vomit of colors they've been wearing for years, have we finally turned the tide of everybody's outfits getting uglier and uglier? Were the Bucs new unis so awful it caused everyone to rethink their lives and make better decisions?

Maybe it was worth it after all . . .

I'll never understand changing when you get it right the first time.

Seriously though, if the alarm clock jerseys were the straw that broke the camel's back, then thank you Tampa.

And yes, the Super Bowl Bucs jerseys really were perfectly fine. Really, like the old Jags jerseys, the color was basically all the decoration they needed - a color unique to them, and then some very basic small logos and number outlines. That's all a timeless NFL jersey needs.

True story:

I live 45 minutes from the NFL Hall of Fame. I've never been. My 8 year old went last Friday on a field trip and loved it.

So strange he went before I did. Even stranger is he had a good time. We really expected him to be bored.

Sounds like a perfect "sick day" activity.

You know, it would be if:

My employer didn't have such a sh*tty sick day policy. We get three days a year.

and

My baby is in daycare and constantly sick, so we've all been constantly sick this winter. (Winter hasn't quite left northeast Ohio atm.)

On the flipside, we have a free ticket that's good until September, so I foresee myself taking a trip this summer on a Saturday or whatever. Free is a pretty good incentive.

3 days! That should be illegal. Also, I hadn't had a cold for 5 years until we hired a new employee last week with a 1 y/o. Got sick within a few days of him working. It is impossible to avoid colds with young kids or being around people that have younger kids.

The different illnesses we've had this past winter are amazing to me. Luckily no flu but otherwise we've had a lot of weird viruses.
