I was pretty impressed by this
Is that Joseph Gordon-Leavitt?
No it is keanu reeves
Come on people, get your eyes checked! It's clearly a dog.
To be fair, I could totally see Keanu Reeves as a labrador.

How is that even humanly possible? Amazing.

It's only moving on one plane, not 3, and moving with rhythm. No way you could do that if it was being operated "properly" with random movement in all three axis
And that's probably the dude who runs the thing, and has fallen off it literally thousands of times getting that down.

I didn't want to believe this but Trachalio's avatar and hat shows he should be the expert.

Joseph Golden-Retrievitt.
You'll have to click through for the gifv, but it's worth it:

It's an augmented reality demo. Here's the first frame:
My strongest thought, when I saw that: my first exposure to computer graphics you could interact with on hardware you personally owned was a Pong game.
Things have come a long, long way.
Great like having to deal with people walking around with their heads down looking at their phones wasn't bad enough now we will have to deal with people who are experiencing a whole different reality. And not just the ones who are stoned anymore.
now we will have to deal with people who are experiencing a whole different reality.
That's always been true, of everyone you've ever met. We've done okay. I'm sure we can figure this out, too.

The dose makes the poison, though.
I think the only likely problem would be if people become, somehow, convinced that the augmented reality is true where actual reality isn't. If their VR glasses are showing them 'the real world', then we could be in for a hard time.
Prior to the last year or two, I'd have been entirely unworried about that. But looking at the crazy things people are choosing to believe now, I'm not as sanguine as I once would have been.

wont covert and not funny enough to fight with
But this one is...lets see if it works
That's a great one because it really shows the gravity assist mechanic. Most people imagine that you just head toward a planet and then slingshot away from it, but if that was all it was you wouldn't gain any speed. You only gain speed by coming up behind the planet's orbit around the sun and using that momentum to speed you up. Cool beans.
This is really good. I keep waiting for the fail gif at the end but it's better than half of the marvel movies out there.
Side note I found the youtube of the bull dancer. Gotta say, it's impressive no matter what. About 1:25 is the gif but there is a lot more.
Betrayal.
Darn Buster Keaton won't convert to "gif" still fun if you like his stuff
When "No Audio" makes things even better
