NCAA basketball 2017-18 catch all.

The Big 12 places four teams in the Sweet 16, which is 40% of their conference.

Man, what a crazy first four days.

If you don't know what's wrong with this sentence, you probably went to a Big 12 school.

As the worst team by far in the worst conference by far, I have earned the right to make fun of other conferences now. Sorry.

Yeah, I went to Kansas, and I can't see what I did wrong. So, I guess you are right?

Hey, FSU is in it still, that's good!

I have no problem being made fun of, especially if it for still having team playing in the tournament, but I still don't see what is wrong with my comment. Maybe a hint?

#Math

It just goes back to the fact that the Big 12 hasn't bothered changing its name despite the fact that it hasn't had 12 teams for nearly 6 or 7 years.

Anyways I'm just waiting for my conference to change its tagline to #ConferenceOfNonRevenueChampions

Yeah, the Big 12 has 10 teams. Despite the name, it makes for a better conference, especially in basketball. Everybody plays everybody twice, home and away. No getting to avoid tough opponents on the road because of the year.

I forget that fans of teams that don't matter still get hung up on conference names. No biggie.

Nothing would make me happier than to make the Pac-12 back to the Pac-10. Hell I would go back to Pac-8 to increase our odds of going to the Rose Bowl. Anyways, yes, as a fan of a team that doesn't matter it just makes me a bigger fan of everyone else's misery (I was reminiscing of when Cal booed Tiger woods at stanfurd and how his career got wrecked right after that.. yeah I'm proud). When Cal makes it to the Rose Bowl I'll be ready to be "happy for you", until then my only source of sports enjoyment comes from winning fantasy leagues and being a smug ass about other teams.

Hey Cal did repeat as Overwatch national champions.

WHY DID I NOT REMEMBER UNTIL TODAY THAT STRINGER BELL IS A UMBC ALUM?!

That's hilarious.

Games tonight.

Posted a link to ESPN Sweet 16 second chance game in the March Madness thread.

Having two threads is confusing for me, too.

I like to try and bring in more Goodjers for the bracket challenge without making them venture to Sports to find it. In the past Certis has moved it over once the tourney started, but it seemed like it was fine to just leave it.

Unlike fantasy football and baseball, the Final Four draws a lot more casual fans to watch and play along with their brackets.

Oh, the strategy makes sense. Ideally, I'd like to see the seasonal thread locked with its final post being a link to the March Madness thread.

But there's coaching changes, maybe draft talk, and other offseason things that will happen here until a new thread in Oct

That could be in the March Madness thread, or hey, just call it the 2018 thread as soon as the tournament is over.

Anything is better than having two simultaneous threads covering the same subject, imho. We have the same problem with all the damn Nintendo threads.

Glad for my wife's family that Nova went all the way -it's my father-in-law's alma mater.
