Yep Shadowrun Dragonfall has been the first game. You could nominate Planescape Torment next week for sure. See the opening post of the thread from Godzilla Blitz, explains how games are picked.
Something to keep in mind - it looks like Neverwinter Nights Enhanced Edition is due to release on Steam/Beamdog this month on the 27th. So that might be worth remembering for the next voting cycle.
Was Neverwinter good? I couldn’t remember anything positive about it.
The main campaign was fairly middle of the road, but the two expansion packs (which come with the enhanced edition) were really good - almost on par with Baldurs Gate quality writing at least. There's a bunch more individual 'premier modules' as well, three of which are in the EE for free and the rest are DLC. I seem to recall hearing good things about them, but they were locked behind really restrictive DRM at the time so I didn't really pay them much attention at the time.
The real draw though is the editor and the thousands of really cool fan modules, most of which will still be compatible with this version of the game. I think they're looking to tie in Workshop support on Steam as well.

Pyxistyx is wise, smart and right. You should listen to her.
Pff. Copy paste endorsement.
I have considered a NWN replay for the longest time, the expansions were indeed good. Even bought it on GOG. But playing EE is even more interesting. The game sure looks ugly though, is it even improved :O
I have an overly heightened excitement level about the next vote. I'm thinking it has to do with some game being selected for me to play rather than trying to pick something out of the pile. I have way too long of a list of games to play and the selection via vote gives me the focus to finish a game.

. When it came out I got the discs but my internet was still dial up so I didn’t get to experience the mods/dlc. I may not have the proper context for Neverwinter nor which mods to install.
I loved Neverwinter Nights. I still have my boxed copy. Somewhere.
The music was fantastic. As were a few of the environments. I enjoyed the story, all that it was, and got along well with the gameplay. Good memories.
I dabbled with the online aspects and had fun, but never kept up with it.
I was really hoping for Baldur's Gate. Then I thought Planescape: Torment. Maybe Vampire. Now Neverwinter Nights! So much goodness.

I absolutely want to buy and play this, but I think doing a Beamdog game at release as a club title would be a bad, bug-riddled idea.
That game will probably be on my vote list next time, but not this one.
Baldur's Gate!
I'll second Wasteland 2!
Jade empire.
Doubt it would win but brining awareness to the title that looked cool as I was reasearching titles.
oh, I'll second Jade Empire, too. I've not played that in AGES.
Jade Empire was actually my first Bioware game, years ago. I'm curious how it holds up.
I’ll second Pillars of Eternity.
Nomination: Avernum: Escape From the Pit
Second: Baldur’s Gate EE
I'll second Avernum: Escape From the Pit
I’ll nominate Planescape: Torment and second Jade Empire (oh Sky, I’ve missed you! <3 ).
I like this bit
However I won't nominate anything because...
A. I haven't finished Dragonfall yet and don't expect to until well into April.
B. Wasteland 2 has already been nominated. It's already sitting there on my Mac pile and would be my pick, so I shan't nominate half heartedly for something else when I'll be rooting W2 all the way!
Saying that I'll second Planescape: Torment. I'd give that a go if Wasteland didn't get the nod.
The only reason why 3 wasn’t on steam because they had to do some clean up work on it.
Yeah, following those can be confusing.
First was the Exile trilogy, Exile: Escape From The Pit, Exile: Crystal Souls, and Exile: Ruined World. Those went through a re-write in the early 2000's, and were re-named Avernum 1, Avernum 2, and Avernum 3 respectively. Then three more games were added, as Avernum 4,5,6. (I'm getting lazy with my italics) Then more recently the first three games were rewritten for a second time, this time using Avernum: [Name From Original Exile Game].
