[News] Post a D&D Picture

Previous incarnations of Cleveland/P&C/D&D have had an image thread, to handle political cartoons and other image-based stuff that doesn't belong in the general post-a-picture threads.

If any of them spawn an extended discussion, please spawn it off into its own thread. Replies to non-picture replies should take the form of a link pointing to a post on a different discussion thread.

And I shouldn't have to say it, but the images still need to abide by the rules.

Umm, there are guns everywhere in those places, especially recently. Unless you believe the Secret Service uses harsh language as their weapon of choice.

Hmm, having specially trained enforcement personnel that are armed, and then nobody else is allowed to be... You're right, that sounds way more like the NRA vision of America than the pro gun control vision of America.

Also posted in the "Inconceivable Troll" thread.

That just makes me sad about the state of American "education".

At least the Romans could blame lead pipes.

Well, have you checked your paint lately? Mine is delicious.

I think recent studies have shown that to be apocryphal; the amount of lead that actually leached into the Roman water supply was not enough to have a major impact on the populace.

We got that too:

E-CIGARETTE VAPOR FILLED WITH DANGEROUS TOXINS LIKE LEAD, STUDY FINDS

Electronic cigarettes may have been deemed safer than traditional smoking by the American Cancer Society, but that doesn’t make it a risk-free habit. Past research has found that oils used to vape contain toxins, and a new study shows that the latest e-cigarette devices might leak dangerous amounts of metal, including lead, which could have serious health risks.

As an aside, that eagle tours, and I had the opportunity to take its picture last summer, and it was an absolute sweetheart in a crowded festival full of kids and other birds:

This will also be an effective way to stop the rash of hotel room bear attacks.

Perfect, now all those Art and Music teachers who lost their jobs to budget cuts can be gainfully employed again!

Fast forward 30 years. America is a military dictatorship following the coup perpetrated by teachers. They’ve had enough of our bullsh*t and just want us to spit out our gum and pick up a book.

Little did we know when we trained them as an elite paramilitary service that there would be blowback.

All of this has happened before, and all of this will happen again.

Jesus Christ, that cop has more tactical sh*t on than our assault infantry platoons did.

Quick pull mags, dump pouch, throat and neck, and shoulder protectors, two sets of drop holsters (... wut...). Plus he probably has some stupidly tricked out M4 or AR that weights like 10 pounds with a bunch of bullsh*t attachments.

And all that to prevent absolutely nothing.
