Unfortunately at this time, I'll only be available on ...Saturdays and occasionally Sundays in January? Wait is this actually awesome?
Its all good.
Saturdays should be good for me, Sundays I could do if needed.
I got a chance to run Ten Candles over the weekend and hear about other people playing Fiasco and now I'm super excited to play again. Anyone up for scheduling a game sometime?
Anyone Interested in Doing a round of Fiasco Sunday/Tomorrow? I'm open all day.
Keep me in mind. It’ll help keep my mind off of sportsball.

Yeah, I should be free.
Sitting down for dinner soon, but have no real plans tonight. Steam IM me or something and I can be in.
Is 8est ok to start?
I should be able to make that.
I have never played Fiasco but always wanted to try it! If you are open to new players, I would be very interested in joining a future game.

Absolutely no one is going to complain about new players. Welcome! The game schedule is a little mixed up right now because a couple of the “regulars” have a shift in job schedule. But there will be more Fiasco happening. Favorite this thread, because one way or another an announcement gets put up here...just can’t guarantee it’s more than 24 hours beforehand (again, shifting job schedules). We try to give lots of notice, though.

Alright, excellent! I'll check on the regular.
I'm in for a session, this has been sitting in my library for about a year and I've been holding off on bringing it to my board game table until I get my head around it. Let's Doodle!!
I have the Monster of the Week book. It looks like a lot of fun. I also picked up Kobolds Ate my Baby, which I think can be adapted easily for one shots in the digital sphere. I’m down with a poll each week. I will also be unavailable first weekend of March, visiting my son.
I love Monster of the Week. Had one of my favorite sessions of all time in that game. It's remarkably adept at using the Powered by the Apocalypse system to encourage you to play your character to and against type. You shouldn't need anything extra for it that I can remember right now. No clocks or anything crazy that other PbtA games bring into play. I'd highly suggest setting it in high school, as that seems to ground everything in a way that almost everyone can relate to.
If we're opening up to new systems, I'd suggest Everyone is John and Lady Blackbird again.
A poll sounds good to me. These all sound like interesting games so I'd be up for trying any number of them.
Wow!! Check this out: Jmnitup is thinking of throwing together a Monster of the Week thing, and I'd like to participate in that, too! Just putting it out there if his thing works for you:
https://www.gamerswithjobs.com/node/...It's late PST, so for folks who can't make it, I'm still interested in potentially slotting in one-shot MotW games in the future at the polled schedules, which start earlier.
That sounds awesome. I am very jealous, and sad that I live on the right coast.

There, I fixed that for you. I also seem to remember seeing you QUITE a bit in Rocket League, and I was only there during this time slot, sooo.... hmmmm.....

I’ll thank you to keep your valuation judgements out of my geographical conversation. :^p
Do I stay up until 1-3am playing Rocket League or PUBG? No doubt. However, starting a tabletop RPG that usually takes 3-4 hours and, more importantly, requires me to actually use my brain effectively while being social at 1am? Probably not my smartest move.
Would we be opposed to posting a doodle poll every Thursday in lieu of a signup sheet, and use that for attendance for that weekend?
Doodle polls work for me.
Thanks for keeping things going.
Not having anywhere else to post this, here goes:
I found out that Roll20.net has an included game-wide playing card deck, so we can expand our Fiasco-like repertoire to include: The Final Girl!
From DriveThruRPG:
"Something out there is hunting us. The captain of the football team was dragged into a manhole. The class president was found dead in her shower. And everyone remembers what happened to the school janitor… and what was left of him on the first day of school. Now we're the only ones left. Will any of us make it out of this alive?
The Final Girl is a horror movie roleplaying game meant to emulate slashers or any other horror movie where the characters are picked off one by one until only one survivor remains to confront the killer. Gather your friends, create your own movie, and find out who will Survive."
This is a Shared Narrative game with encounters resolved using typical playing card War rules (Ace high, blood before death, stabby beats blunt). I've heard it played on a number of the RPG podcasts I listen to, but haven't played it myself. However, given the huge amount of fun I've had with this crew for Fiasco, I think it might be a good fit.
Available as Pay What You Want from DriveThruRPG, or you can ape the copy that I bought from my dropbox.
Any interest? If it takes off, I'll try to get Amoebic to give me some tips on creating a dedicated board...you know, for ambiance.
I would also be up for trying this game as well! I don't know if I missed the Fiasco boat, but I'd really like to get into some new RP games.
Depends. How many people still reading this thread? Sound off!
I'm still lurking. Would love to play again sometime, but I never really noticed a post about a rescheduled game time so I've just been watching for an announcement of a game to see if I can make it.
