After the 2014 Olympics I signed up at my local icehouse for a curling class. Way more difficult than I thought it was. And I only fell twice.
I do love watching me some Winter Olympic Games though. The cross-country skiing always fascinates me for some reason.

I expected this thread to be gigantic. Been watching as much as I can. I hope NBC loses their Olympic contract soon, hate their coverage. Next time around I am going to figure out how to VPN BBC or Canadian coverage so I don't have to deal with their streaming service.

Edit I agree that Bodie's commentary is crap but his partner likes to take digs at him for age, missed podium spots, etc and those are great!

I agree that Bodie's commentary is crap but his partner likes to take digs at him for age, missed podium spots, etc and those are great!
The digs at Bodie have been great. I’ve wondered if he even recognizes those as digs.
I feel like when Bodie starts talking it’s the equivalent of a run-on sentence that is several paragraphs long and with no punctuation.

So the Netherlands win the B final for women’s short track relay (i forget the distance) and then because of two penalities against Canada and China, the Netherlands gets the bronze and they were not in that race.

I've been watching some when it's on at the gym, so I've caught maybe an hour of downhill the past few nights. Wow, those skiers are crazy good. Nothing but admiration for how they fearlessly hightail it down the hill.

I'm happy the US won but I hate that the Lame-o-reux sisters are the reason they won. And, a goddamn Badger had the other goal. I may care too much about college women's hockey to be able to fully enjoy international women's hockey.
