Thanks *Legion* for taking over the cat herding this year.

Edit: PF totals were definitely down compared to last year.

Grats Grump and Thanks! Another successful year of keeping Legion out of the championship circle. good job all!

Thanks to both Grumps and Legion for keeping this up and running.

Clearly my plan in Pro didn't work out as Jordy Nelson didn't quite have the year I expected and going TE early meant I lacked a true RB1 and WR2. Oops.

Dynasty was going pretty well early on, but the down year in Oakland hurt my WR output and I still don't have a RB1. This was the first year that I felt the effect of not taking Gurley 1.1.

Edit: Also, congrats to the winners. Especially Iso.

Winning the consolation bracket of D1 counts as winning something, right?

yay $5.

Also, too early to start off-season trades involving draft picks?!?!

I'm sure *Legion* would be happy to buy a beer with it instead... and if not, I'm happy to put it to good use.

No. Let's do this!

But I assume we need Legion to properly draft the rules first.

Congratulations to the winners, and I will get to dispensing the money next week.

As for rules, the floor is open to proposals.

Proposal: Allow trading of Draft Picks in Dynasty. During off season, only allow trading of picks for upcoming season. During the season, only allow trading of picks for the next season.

Proposal: Increase roster size in Dynasty.

Do I qualify for Pro yet?

Proposal: Schedule drafts with more warning next year

I don't know if trading draft picks in no-stakes dynasty is a great idea. It was hard enough deciding to join a dynasty team where I hadn't even heard of half of my players, and the best one was Carlos Hyde before Wentz took off. I'd hate to inherit a team with a bunch of scrubs *and* knowing my first round draft pick was gone for the upcoming year. I've heard of leagues where upcoming draft picks can be traded only after paying dues for the upcoming year.

(I drafted Mixon with my mid-1st pick and traded him because his YPC sucked and the Bengals suck, but those were my defining decisions on the team.)

A week still has 7 days, correct?

I know I know, I'm catching up on so much stuff post-holiday.

I meant next next week!

I didn't want to say anything last year with everything in flux, but if there are pieces of GWJFFL you'd like to delegate next year, I think some of us would be happy to help. Part of the problem is how big of a job it is for one person.

Well I ended up delegating the money-winning part. I was trying to avoid that.

The part that I could use help on maybe is just scaring up enough interest to fill spots. It didn't feel good to take Keeper out back and Old Yeller it, and then barely keep Dynasty alive. Those kind of specialty leagues get filled by people who join us to play redraft, enjoy it, and decide they want to play more. So building up the redraft player pool is going to be a priority, and hopefully that flows more people into specialty leagues too.

Otherwise it might not end up being a big job after all.

Alright, everyone who won money in Pro league should have a PM from me, to confirm payment details.

Reply and I'll send you your $$$.

Alright I got responses from almost everybody. I'll chase down the last guy and send you all your money on Friday.

Thanks for herding us cats Legion.

I had a little bit of trouble with the software so had some issues with not getting my lineups set at times. Also screwed up some player transactions. I think the software is fine, just took some getting used to.

Had a great tome though, look forward to playing again next year!

Moneys have been sent. Congrats to the winners!

You're a good man, Charlie Brown.

Thanks for running things this year. I am recruiting Shag26 to return to GWJ and to run a team next season.

Dynasty:

Marlon Mack
James Conner

On the block. I'm more in need of WRs than RBs.

Can we trade yet? Can we trade yet? Can we trade yet? Can we trade yet? Can we trade yet?

We can trade, yes.

Hmm, don't know what we would trade other than Hopkins, heh. Don't need RBs.

You can trade picks

Fleaflicker is apparently on the verge of releasing a "taxi squad" feature. We may need to look into this and see if it's something we want to use for dynasty.

Can we activate Dynasty now? I'm not sure why it gets turned off. Dynasty season never ends.

We should probably begin the "are you coming back for Dynasty" earlier than redraft, even if informally through emails and PMs.

+1

Time to start trading!

^^^ see what you did Garion?

It's like a goddamn Batsignal with this one.

Let me get back to California and we'll see.
