So I hope you guys will indulge me because I thought I would bring over a discussion point I started in the Game of the Year thread but which I was politely asked to post in a different thread. I was taking about Mass Effect Andromeda and how it’s beautiful graphics and great combat make it a good game, even if the writing is lacking. In the same way, I think Last Jedi’s beautiful cinematography and awesome action sequences makes it a good (though probably not great) film.

I like the story a lot in The Last Jedi and found Andromeda's story pretty good but I think that's a very good comparison in a broad sense.
