Refs blow whistle on would be fumble recovery TD, calling Kizer down by contact. Review shows ball came out and Jags clearly recovered, but the whistle took a TD off the board in a one-score game. Terrible officiating to not let the play run to completion.
EDIT: And so the Jags run 3 times to burn up Cleveland's timeouts, punts, then strip sacks Kizer and recovers in endzone to get their fumble recovery TD back.
I'm not sure if the review would've overturned it but Jack or whoever recovered the fumble should've run to the end zone even though they blew the whistle. There's always a chance the review would give it to him because they clearly scored, or however it's worded.

It was your boy Fowler. And I know this is just more ammo for you to sneer at Fowler.
Peterman throws INT number 5.
It's not quite halftime yet.
Peterman hasn't had it this bad since the introduction of the Urban Sombrero.

Amateur hour Jags.

This a record? Gotta be one of the worst debuts of all time.
This is definitely one of the most ridiculous unforced errors for a team thick in the playoff hunt in recent memory.
That Draw Play comic rings even more true.
6 completions to 5 interceptions, wow.
Did they put Taylor back in?

I mean, that's 11 completions, if you wanna be positive about it.
Did they put Taylor back in?
Yup. Tyrod's a better man than me, honestly. I'd have been sorely tempted to tell them to eat sh*t and sat on the bench for the rest of the game, and let McDermott ride Petermain straight to the (richly deserved) unemployment line.

Taylor's playing for his free agent (or post-trade) contract next March.
His cap figure grows to $18 mil next year, a number not out of line but one the Bills seem unlikely to pay, so most likely he will either be released or traded. Probably traded, as there will be enough interest to get something in return.
USA Today went there:

Yup, it's a record!
Peterman was the first quarterback since the 1970 AFL-NFL merger to throw at least five interceptions in a first half, according to the Elias Sports Bureau.
Edit: More -
He was the first player in NFL history to throw five interceptions and no touchdowns on fewer than 15 passes; nobody had thrown five interceptions on fewer than 28 passes—twice as many as Peterman threw—since 1990.
(From here.)
It might be tough to see where the ball went because you're looking near the goalposts, but it went nowhere near them.
Aguayo would've made that kick.
Me during the first half of last night's Eagles/Cowboys game: "Holy sh*t is this where the other shoe drops why can't they catch the f*cking ball it's not even raining ohgodohgodohgod f*ck everyone that said this'd be an easy game."
Me during the second half of last night's Eagles/Cowboys game: "f*ck YEAH TWO-POINT CONVERSIONS WHOOOOO FLY EAGLES FLY!!!!"
Was really stunned to see the Chiefs lost to Giants though.
OC Mike McCoy fired in Denver, Bill Musgrave promoted.
Bears let Connor Barth go and bring in ............ Cairo Santos. Oh well, maybe next time we'll get an Aguayo sighting.
Well, here's something about the Chiefs that might help explain what's up:
After posting a 125.8 passer rating during Kansas City's 5-0 start, [Alex] Smith has posted a 79.7 mark over the past three games, including three interceptions and a lost fumble.
Smith had 12 completions on passes traveling 25 yards or more through the first seven games of the season; he has just two such completions on eight tries over the past three games.
Smith on Sunday against the Giants failed to hit the high floor that is supposed to represent his calling card. The Chiefs were 3-for-11 on third down, with Smith throwing two picks and having a third called back for pass interference. On a windy day in which the Chiefs held the struggling Giants offense to 12 points in five quarters, Smith's offense could muster only three field goals.
So, Old Alex Smith is truly back and couldn't pass well in the wind.
I’d like to see the numbers on how the OL has played since the fast start. They lost a bunch of guys, but got Morse and LDT back. I don’t think they have played well, and it’s making it harder to throw deep.
Also, I think they are relying on too much misdirection. Once you have the defense freezing, you should be taking advantage of that by running more straight forward.
And the wind really was ridiculous. The Giants missed an XP that was kicked well, but just hung the fabulous up and never made it to the posts. Passes were not looking good.
But the offense hasn’t looked great for several games. This is a test for Andy Reid, because they have the pieces they need to play better.
I guess it also increases the odds that KC starts Mahomes next year.
Somehow, the Browns have not been mathematically eliminated from the playoffs:
Don't count out Russell Wilson.
Don't count out Russell Wilson.
Or Atlanta's elite lead-losing ability.
It's frustrating watching Pete do all the Pete Things he's done his entire coaching career. But I guess you don't get Good Pete without also the Pete Things.
I'm...glad we've got Good Pete. Even tho he does Pete Things.
You guys ready? Here's the most unexpected thing possible:
Tyrod Taylor will be starting this week.
Hmmm
So, if the Ravens had Blake Bortles as their QB they'd actually be a top 5 team? Wow.
Or maybe it has something to do with their running game.
Nah, it's Bortles.

Tyrod Taylor will be starting this week.
Add this for the cherry on top of the Bills unforced errors sundae:
Bills with Dareus: 3.19 yards per carry. Bills without Dareus: 5.21 yards per carry
