You know who threw 5 INTs in practice and scared his coach so bad all they do is run the ball?

Don't do Gumbie's job for him. You go talk sh*t to other AFC North fans.

Or I guess Flacco makes that hard to do.

I hope Flacco retires.

PPS - I think Gumbie's distracted by a baby these days.

No excuse! Garion balanced having a baby and being here to sass me every day. You have to prioritize the things that are important.

He's hiding because his team is lame. Super Mario isn't quite a Super this year.

4 INTs last night. What a scrub.

Hey have I ever told you who has never thrown 4 INTs in a game?

Spoiler:

Dammit Gumbie should be here for this.

Gumbie's gonna Ratboy like it's 2-0-1-5.

Shoulder surgery sucks, incidentally.

Also, I'm (A) genuinelky shocked Bortles has never thrown four picks in one game, and (B) not genuinely shocked I am genuinely shocked by that.

Hey, you are alive! Good to know you made it through, hope your convalescence goes without a snag.

"MilkmanDanimal is listed as Doubtful on this week's injury report, following shoulder surgery to repair a torn rotator cuff. However, he was able to participate in light Bortles sh*t-talking during Friday's afternoon session."

I'm curious how many of you have had somebody use your computer and then ask why you have a folder full of Blake Bottles pictures.

"Blake Bortles is listed as questionable this week."

"How was he injured?"

"Injured?"

In related Bortles news, Blaine Gabbert will start Sunday for the Cards.

Also, the Panthers are off this week so I have two non-Panthers games at 1 p.m. Sunday.

* checks local listings *

* see Saints-DC and Ravens-Packers *

Huh. Guess I'll hold off till Patriots-Raiders at 4.

On this day, 10 years ago:

Bring back those jerseys!

God I hope he's still starting next week when the Cards play against Jacksonville.

Finally I will be able to cheer against Gabbert in a game.

Finally his sh*ttiness is the other team's problem.

FINALLY.

And that Jags D should tear him limb from limb.

Local CBS antenna went down Friday. Repairs are still underway. No NFL double header for me today. Ugh.

Kizer gonna Kizer. Throws it to the Jags on his first attempt.

To be fair, it was the second attempted pass play, got sacked on the first one.

The announcers for the Lions @ Bears game keep saying variations on "throw him open" to reference dramatically different things. It's making me really annoyed.

The worst thing about following a bad team is that you get the really bad announcing crews.

I'll trade you that for this Ravens-Packers game. Wretched wretched game. I am having trouble reconciling wanting to watch the Washington football team over anything else, but here we are. Thanks 2107.

Yeah I try to not watch Washington until they change their name

Oh god the future sucks too??

I was gonna say that the Browns and Jags match up nicely as long as Myles Garrett plays, which he is.

The Jags want to run it, which is not how to beat the Browns D, while the Browns offense will also want to run it to limit Kizer passing into the Jags pass D.

Basically it comes down to which QB f*cks up more.

So do people actually watch Kevin Can Wait? Like, they watch, they find it funny, and they laugh?

"Gabbert with a career high 3 TDs"

OH SURE, NOW

Refs blow whistle on would be fumble recovery TD, calling Kizer down by contact. Review shows ball came out and Jags clearly recovered, but the whistle took a TD off the board in a one-score game. Terrible officiating to not let the play run to completion.

EDIT: And so the Jags run 3 times to burn up Cleveland's timeouts, punts, then strip sacks Kizer and recovers in endzone to get their fumble recovery TD back.

Brady vs Bortles

Clash of the Titans AFC championship game.

NFL and networks must be salivating at the prospect.

Yeah. Only saving grace is we have another 100 years of Browns flailing to make fun of. President Bortles had a good run though.

Can I say that I like the Andrew Catalon / James Lofton booth?

They seem to always get stuck with Jags games (which isn't quite the bad gig it was before this season), so I've seen them a lot. Catalon brings great energy and calls a good game, and Lofton is pretty solid as far as ex-player color guys go.

I see there's a lot of defense happening in the Saints/Slurs game. Tied up at 31 with that Kamara TD + Kamara 2pt.

And I thought the Jags struggling to put away the Browns was bad, but what is going on with KC?

Chiefs and Giants in OT? WTF?

2 other games tied in the final minute. Might be a long afternoon.

No Niners game so I'm happily camped out on RedZone Channel

Patrick Murray kicks game winning TD.

I hate that not grabbing Lambo is working out for Tampa.

Of course Lambo is killing it in Jacksonville, 8-of-8 so far.

But grabbing a guy that hadn't seriously kicked since 2014 was supposed to be more Bucs kicker fodder for us.

Nathan Peterman shows Bills fans why he put Tyrod Taylor on the bench with a 59 yard TD pass on the opening drive... except it was a Charger that caught it.

Then he throws another INT on the next drive.

Yeah, this is going well. Taylor is probably on the bench trying his hardest not to smirk.

I call to order this meeting of the Cord Cutters of the Triad. ...

Also, too, I hate-watched the 1 p.m. NO-DC game. (No CBS, so this was my only option.) The perfect outcome would have been a 48-0 Washington win, with all eight TDs scored on Josh Norman interception returns. (He's the only guy on either team I can stand to root for.*)

Of course, Kirk Cousins is the only guy this side of Blake Bortles or any Browns QB of the last two decades who could have cost his team down, distance and time on the same damn play, so Saints win. Of course.

Related: This morning at our neighborhood grocery store, I saw a guy in Browns sweatpants, a Browns hat and a Browns Brady Quinn 10 jersey. My wife said he teaches at our neighborhood elementary school. I haven't decided whether I should call the police, mental health or social services. Who will think of the children?!

(* I might have made an exception for Ted Ginn Jr. but he's on the Saints now so eff that guy. Traitor.)

Edit: If today doesn't need another dick punch, a rookie RB for the Texans ran 30+ yards for a TD and blew his Achilles all in the same play. Heartbreaking.

Peterman with his 4th INT on 9 pass attempts.

Tyrod has 3 INTs on the season.

If this was solely the Buffalo's coach's decision and if Peterman keeps stinking up the joint, they should leave the coach at LAX.
