Big shock, Bob McNair's team avoids Kaepernick, signs Matt McGloin.

Matt McGloin y'all.

Think of it this way; with the QB situations in Indianapolis and Houston being dumpster fires and Tennessee being highly inconsistent, all this seems likely to turn Blake Bortles into a "playoff-caliber QB". By default.

Very entertaining thread, y'all.

My takeaways:

* Cleveland stinks
* Blake Bortles and the Jags will make the playoffs
* The Panthers are going to lose Sunday.

Huh. Not all of those things can be true.

This is the false one, right?

Clever!

Update, via Deadspin: The Browns-iest thing ever. Apparently in Cleveland it was once Brock O'Clock.

This Elliott suspension is going to end up in the f*cking Supreme Court, isn't it?

Boy Brock sure gave them a lot at practice for that sizzle reel, eh?

"Warm-up throw! Flat to the running back! Warm-up throw! 5-yard out! Warm-up throw!"

I hope the suspension is upheld by 5-4, and then Merrick Garland says he would have ruled against it.

My jersey acquisitions for 2017:

IMAGE(https://i.imgur.com/kKIb60F.jpg)

The first two from my Chinese knock-off seller, the third from eBay.

I used to drive myself nuts staring at the discrepancies between the knock-offs and the actual on-field jerseys, but then I did the same thing with the "authentic" jerseys sold at the stadium and found even they don't tend to exactly match the on-field jerseys, I stopped caring and embraced the $20 jersey

Is Buckner the guy who is hurt all the time?

No Juszczyk?

No, he's the only one of those 3 first-round defensive linemen who isn't hurt.

He's also the only 49er PFF has with an elite grade so far this year.

I went with the original for now. Juszczyk now is only PFF's 3rd ranked fullback and that's unacceptable.

Wow, so the most Blake Bortles thing about Blake Bortles is he is Blake Bortles?!? It's so obvious!

Blast Hardcheeze.

Joe Thomas needs to complete a pass.

I've always thought that Bortles was the sound you make when you throw up in your mouth a little.

That's as good a description for his professional career as anything else, honestly.

Leonard Fournette inactive today for violating team rules. He missed the team photo shoot this week.

Coughlin is back in town.

What a dick move.

He should have punched some people in the face.

You know, like AJ Green and Jalen Ramsey...

Holy crap AJ Green lost his mind.

I was woken up not long ago for the Eagles game. Evidently I was pretty much catatonic before the game because Extra Life. I thought I missed almost all the game only to discover it was before halftime.

Welcome to Philadelphia Ajayi, looks like you'll like it here*.

*depending on the overall quality of the Denver Broncos? I felt like the team was supposed to be a joke but my friend said they have the #1 running defense in the league or something. I looked at their current scores and it's looking like they had a strong start but haven't been doing too well.

Basically I'm afraid to assume Ajayi will have as good a game every game because as GameGuru said I'm waiting for the other shoe to drop.

Even so, it's gotta be nice after a loss like the one against the Ravens.

Jalen Ramsey should not have been ejected for that shove. Penalized would be OK, but ejecting both players was bullsh*t.

Playing against the Colts defense that Bortles shredded for 330 yards, Tom Savage is 8-of-25 for 81 yards.

8-of-25.

Good thing they signed, uh... McGloin.

Josh Lambo, the free agent kicker I was saying a few weeks ago was clearly the beat available guy, is 3-of-3 for the Jags this week, including a career-high 56 yarder. 5-of-5 for them overall so far.

Unfortunately, Patrick Murray has been great for Tampa, 4-of-4 with a pair of 50 yarders, so we can't have as much fun with this as we would have otherwise.

Agreed, though AJ Green is likely to be suspended. That was some Suh kind of sh*t he pulled.

Jags would instantly improve their uniform situation by just making these teal jerseys their main ones.

And then do something about that helmet.
