Stranger Things Netflix series catch-all

Are you talking about every time I start spontaneously and uncontrollably vomiting? Because I really wish From Software would stop making me do that.

It's a buff!

Purple Moss should clear that up.

Did everyone know that the monster was mainly a practical effect?

Neat.
It seems like recently we're starting to see a resurgence of practical effects in film, which makes me happy.

Boy, they really missed a marketing opportunity by not releasing it on November 11.

What's special about November 11?

Just the numbering: 11/11

IMO the only significant November 11 was when Skyrim released, on 11/11/11.

Not so much the day so much as a character going by the name of Eleven.

Cannot wait!! Nice releasing it just before Halloween. 11/11 would have been cool, but then we would all have had to wait LONGER.

I kind of wished they had done another series in the same style about a different group of characters and a different strange happening... I'm concerned that the second season will be a real letdown.

Still gonna watch though.

I'd say Remembrance Day in Canada tops the Skyrim release.

Also Mrsfyrnos birthday =p

In almost all the Commonwealth states, but for sure Skyrim's release is a close second.

I burned a ROM release version of the Atari ST operating system on 8/8/88. Sadly it didn't make it to market until the following April.

Yeah, I like the idea of Stranger Things as an anthology. But I too will watch, although I didn't enjoy the first season as much as everyone else. The hype was beyond reason so I was a little let down when I got to watch it.

The critter itself and a lot of the specifics around it were ho-hum to me -- including the in-between dimension it occupied or whatevs was happening there. So yeah, looking forward to it but wondering if The Goonies vibe (and other good parts) will be enough to carry it again.

Now you've got me thinking ES:VI won't arrive til late February, '22.

Weird, that embed is not working for me. Is the site messing up youtu.be embeds again?

Wow we're less than 3 weeks out

Is that mobile game worth playing? I like the art but I am not typically a phone gamer at all and games with retro pixel graphics on mobile are a dime a dozen frankly.

I'm super disappointed they never contracted Infamous Quests to fully develop their point & click tribute

I like it, but I'm biased: some of my friends worked on it. It's a really nice mix of mobile action game and old-school adventure games.
