What are you playing this weekend?

Winter is coming so I'll be deep in the snow of Steep and The Division

Update: I have passed the point that glitched out on me in Shadowrun Returns, so I'm on to the final confrontation. Other than packing to move, that's what I'll be doing this weekend.

Any tips for the final fights?

Charity board game day tomorrow, so whatever get roped into / invited to play there. 12 hour affair, but my tother half has a hen do to go to so having to skip the evening. Boo.

Does mean get a chunk of PS4 time. Should get some Destiny 2 grind going on, but to be honest after 15-20 hours my interest is starting to wane significantly. This happened with Destiny 1.0 if I recall, fell off at this stage and never went back. Don't really want to do that with 2 so... drop it for a while and come back fresh? or battle through the mehness until it hopefully gets interesting again? Ummm...

PSN £12 for Titanfall 2 for the campaign looking tempting...

My god, a billion games came out this past week, so for the blog, I'm gonna try and tackle several videos for:

I seriously doubt I'll have time for anything else, sadly.

I have people convincing me to buy Marvel vs Capcom: Infinite - only problem is I'm on the XBox this gen and I don't know if it's worth it or not (how good is the online community and so on).

Other than that I seem to be in a few Through the Ages games - I still can't figure out how to get above 250 points, and I keep seeing people with 500+. I'm also relearning Race for the Galaxy, and digging into Morphite.

Aside from that, I'm also delving more into the Swift programming language and writing more wordsmith type stuff.

He did used to like the recreational drugs, it's true. When's it set, the 90's?

I'm a real broken record the last 6 weeks. It's all Warframe all the time. I'm not even going to pretend to dally with anything else.

This weekend is the Overwatch free weekend. I realize this isn't exactly an indy underdog, but I just can't stop playing.

Injustice 2. It's way better than I hoped. Last fighter I bought must be... Soul Calibur on the Dreamcast. And the first fighter with a decent story too, though I have no idea how it relates to the general DC universe. So in an effort to find out we're watching Batman vs. Superman tonight, we've avoided it due to the bad press but I gotta see what's up.

Destiny 2 probably, provided I can sort out some abrupt audio issues I'm having. I have the Sony Gold headphones and out of the blue I can't hear any voice on the headset, If I switch off the headset, I can hear voice on the TV, If I switch just voice to the headset I can hear it, but not with both voice and game sound routed to headset. Weird stuff.

More Day of the Tentacle Remastered. I'm halfway through, and I've already used and abused the Universal Hint System more than I care to admit. I wish I was better at this kind of game, but I love the story and the characters, and that somehow makes it acceptable .

I know it's only a two-hour game, but I spent most of my first evening playing pool.

"Play every Need for Speed game" continues as I close in on halfway through Most Wanted. Fortunately I never told myself I would play them all to completion.

@Demyx, that actually looks really neat, I might have to look into it.

It's a fun diversion with colorful graphics, but not exactly a must-play. If you want an easy game where you mainly go around riding dinosaurs and gathering materials, it's a decent pick.

That's a very pretty-looking game.

Is there a good site for tracking what video games I'm playing? Also, I'd love one that can generate a signature with a list of what I'm playing. Or a banner....or something.

Backloggery will do both.

Same as last weekend:

Added a bit of Professor Layton vs Phoenix Wright, and will try to get in a bit of The Vanishing of Ethan Carter as well.

My brain initially processed that as "Spacewelder", which sounds like a non-mundane, mundane simulator.

Yes! It’s a lot of fun.

I get to take care of my two boys this weekend so no gaming unless I feel super good about a lack of sleep.

If that happens, more Divinity 2, Yakuza 0, and or Heat Signature.

Taking a short weekend trip to visit family, so mobile games most of the weekend. However i did get a steam coupon to Tacoma, so I am very much looking forward to diving into that as soon as I get back to by desktop.

Dark Cloud 2, Editing a Novel 2017 edition, Editing a script: last chance edition, World of Final Fantasy, and Finish a Marketing and Promotions Proposal by Monday: I don't know what I'm doing Edition.

Overwatch (PC)

Back into this in a big way. Turned out I wasn't bored of the game, I was just bored of playing healer every single match. I've been disabling chat and one-tricking Junkrat with huge success! I'm sitting on a 60% winrate, and steadily climbing. I feel like that guy, sure, but I'm having more fun with the game than ever, so sue me

Metroid 2: Samus Returns (3DS)

It's, uh, pretty good. I like it a lot. Mostly, I'm just thrilled to have another 2D Metroid game! Loving it.

Yakuza 0 (PS4)

Currently my partner is obsessed with Mass Effect Andromeda and won't let me near the PS4. I don't like my chances, but I'd like to keep playing this. It's getting a bit tedious, but I love the story and humour.

I feel like I haven't played any games in like two weeks, so this weekend is kinda me looking at my library and going "huh, now what?". Plus we're going on vacation next week so I don't really want to get invested in anything new... So probably...

Overwatch (PC): trying to get back into Saturday night shoot-mans. Splatoon 2 (Switch): hopefully finishing the campaign. Diablo III (PC): for when I want something mindless. Leisure Suit Larry 7 (PC): because we're going on a cruise for the first time, it's set on a cruise boat, and I'm curious to see if it holds up as well as I've read (and replaying a game I haven't played since high school is always interesting).

EDIT: Oh, I completely forgot Terra Battle 2 (iOS) and Heat Signature (PC) launched this week. Yeah, would like to put some time into both of those if I can

Welcome back! Totally understandable, healing is really important but it's fun to switch it up a bit. If you can get on Twitch with the rest of the GWJ crew there's a handful of us who play healing which is nice because people are totally cool about running healer for a bit if you want a break.

I've pretty much given up on trying to play anything else for now.

My Exo Titan just hit 20 (not quite done with the story yet)...

Still chasing achievements, running over roos and dodging drop bears...

I would really like to put something turn-based into the mix, so maaaaybe...

I'd love to play with you guys, but I'm not sure about latency and timezones. I play from 6pm onwards AEST/UTC+10. I guess I could always play some Junkrat or Torbjorn if the lag is too bad.

And Twitch? Do you mean Discord or...? I'm not too familiar with Twitch, I've only ever signed in to watch AGDQ.

Finished up my no kills, no detection run of Dishonored 2 as Emily.

The best run. The canon run. At least for me. I'm curious how you'll like the no powers run, that's one thing I've never managed to do, myself.

No powers was much, much easier, mostly because I didn't care about getting caught, and murdered everyone. It was, however, much less satisfying, as I expected it to be. All the runes you collect carry over to the next New Game+, and having played both Emily and Corvo, you get to choose any of either character's powers and start with ~45 runes, so I played around a bit with that, and might come back to it, but after 100%ing the game, this weekend, it's on to Dishonored: Death of the Outsider, which is outstanding so far (only 2 chapters in).

After playing for a few hours when it first came out, I've had it sitting on top of my PS4 just collecting dust. I started it back up again last weekend and I'm going to try to power through it this week to maybe trade it in at some point.

It's a breathtaking game - sometimes from the visuals, but mostly because I'm out of breath from swearing at the damn animal that never seems to do what I want it to. The floaty controls make the platforming a chore, and the camera seems to think that the best angle for any scene is directly up Trico's butt.

I went back and played a bit of Shadow of the Colossus for comparison, and wow do these games benefit from the hazy fog of nostalgia.

I'm hoping the SotC remake fixes the control/camera issues. I prefer going back to Ico because the relatively fixed camera makes it easier to play nowadays.

I'm in the new game + of Oxenfree...

I'm in the new game + of Oxenfree...

I'm in the new game + of Oxenfree...

I'm. ......wait what?

This week is such an embarrassment of riches.

XCOM2: War of the Chosen - wrapping up the campaign.

Stellaris: Synthetic Dawn - continuing to take my Megacorporation Stellar empire across the stars with their subjugated roboservants. What could go wrong?

Warhammer: Total War - For the Empire!

Warhammer: Total War 2 - ...unless of course the High Elves demand otherwise.

...and two amazing games Endless Space 2 and Civilization 6 sit on my pile.

...and Divinity: Original Sin - the first one - has just been installed.

God damn it I need to clone myself just to get through all of this.

Got some stuff to finish writing for college next week, but between that...probably more Arkham Horror LCG solitaire, Maybe some Eldritch Horror and definitely jumping in and out of Heat Signature for the odd quick spaceship heist.

Gonna be a real nice weekend...

Borrowed this from a coworker. My god, this game is stunning. Don't know if I have the fortitude to see this all the way to the end (I can't do open world anymore) but... my god, did I mention how pretty this game is?

IMAGE(http://scientificgamer.com/blog/wp-content/uploads/2016/05/stellaris_galaxy.jpg)
Somehow I am itching to play this, just the vanilla version because I have yet to finish an Easy-difficulty solo match. I also randomly reinstalled MOO2 from my GOG account but that's beside the point...

Must keep pushing forward. Get myself psyched for October DLC. Let's gooooo.

And the rest: poor Tekken 7, maybe I will get in some practice after 2+ weeks off. A bunch of mobile games I'm picking away at including Shadow of War which my friend's studio worked on.
