Conan Exiles - Crush Your Enemies, See them driven before you!

For those that are doing circular or half circle builds i'm sure you've noticed that you can't stack the triangle foundation pieces. It's a known bug being worked on.

I have found a way to line up the square sections to be the stackable foundation pieces. So the weakest support % is 60% instead of 20%.

So in the picture i have above. In the space underneath each square ceiling tile you can place pillars as supports. You can then place another ceiling tile that is closest to the ground. Once that's done you're able to snap a triangle foundation to that ceiling piece. With the triangle foundation in place you can remove the pillar and ceiling pieces and replace with square foundation all the way to the top.

Ranalin,

I finished another level and put a shrine of mitra on top - then I upgraded it to a sanctuary. Needed 350 brick, 250 iron reinforcement, and 60 shaped wood. The iron reinforcement took FOREVER to craft. I left an Ankh on the sanctuary. If you kill people you can then wack them with the ankh and get 1 soul. Drop them off at the sanctuary. If you become an acolyte of mitra (the pirate queen can teach it to you) then you can make ambrosia with the souls. Ambrosia gives regeneration. It seems to help, but it's no miracle if you have too many dudes beating on you.

I'm a priest of mitra now, so I can make the water statue if you want. Since we have a well I didn't know if you wanted to put it somewhere. Might look nice as a centerpiece to a hall or something.

Nice! The statue will work, and i'm going to make a throne hall room extension along the lines where the path to the bridge is now. I'm going to have to make the new tower just 4 rings in width which is what the first one is. We can stack wheels of pain in there or try to once i finish replacing the supports. Then off of the throne room make one more tower that's at least 5 rings wide.

And yea those reinforcements do take forever. Sorry i left you with less than expected i had to replace that box while removing the foundation underneath it. Was hoping that would be enough out of the way to allow the wall to snug up against that side like the one on the left. Good news is that we're not going to lose that banner now!

I miss age of conan, still a little sad it didn't manage to stay active and lively. This looks tempting as a result, questions!
1) how early access is the current state of the game?
2) are people able to come by and destroy one's sh*t whenever they feel like it?

1) tons of stuff still being added, bugs here and there, but certainly very playable.
2) yes technically. if you have a tier 2 building it'll take them awhile to farm the materials to make the explosive jars to take out a wall. so not something they can just do walking by.

Plus on the GWJ server while pvp is turned on it needs to be mutually agreed upon before starting.

How's NPC AI? The early streams it looked absolutely terrible in that they would shoot at enemies and most of the time they'd just stand there.

I didn't realize there'd already been 22 updates, that's pretty good! I look forward to a sale so I can check it out.

AI is still brain dead, but honestly they're there in numbers and act as a gear check to get into areas more than actual combat simulator. Sad, but just not the nature of the game right now.

22 updates and untold number of patches. They've slowed down some, but it still feels like we are getting at least 1 patch a week now. For awhile it was 2 or 3 a day.

Steam is so stupid when patching Conan, it allocates 13GB of space (the size of the original DL) no matter what the patch size is.

OMG the sound of the blacksmiths now is so overwhelming!

i know. worst part is i don't even have a blacksmith thrall, it just makes the sound anyway.

ha, looks like a patch just came out 10 mins ago reducing the blacksmith sound. nice.

Trevuchets were released today in the patch. If you're 50th level, probably need to drink the yellow lotus potion they also fixed so you can spend the skill points to get it

Snagged this in the mid week sale-- the gwj community still alive?

PUBG has most of us enamored at the moment but the server is still up and i jump in about once a week to poke at my latest creation.

same here, PUBG got me. i suppose i should log in and check on my stuff

Last post was in April. Are we still using the server?

Everytime i've tried to log into it there was 0 response. Within game and within the console. Thought you already took it down.

I have been paying for it and I do see that we are paid for June. But the panel does show no games. I tried to "start" the service and it gives a billing error code. But given that it has been down and nobody complained, I guess it is safe to cancel?

Yea i think all our stuff is gone at this point anyway. I'd see if you can get the month back.

it's been offline for at least 6 weeks now, I show last time I started the game was on 5/12, which was to check if maybe my favorite in steam was no longer valid. I know I checked a couple times before then too. Probably want to try and get the cost for May back too.

I've tried to log on both manually and through steam - but no luck. I haven't done so lately - getting married, moving, and the like have seriously cut into time, but I'm guessing that it's certainly safe to take the server down

Well before I do that the question should be posed, should I try to get it back. If there is interest I don't mind keeping it running.

As an aside, my ISP is upgrading my connection to 1Gbps up and down so I might just be able to host my own server.

I'm waiting for the game to bake a bit, doing the usual early access thing I do of checking in every 3 months or so to see what's changed and playing for as long as feels good before going dormant again. I'm due to check it out again, but I was never using the server anyway being over the other side of the planet as I am.

I've been playing a server with the homebrew mod, which adds a lot of interesting elements to the game. Conan the farmer!

Just an FYI, the new zone is released - looks pretty awesome

haven't touched this game in like 6 months, how is it coming along?

Am very tempted to get into this.
Anyone still playing ?
Any community action ?
Has it improved much over the year ?
