Since I'm headed off for most the day here's the answer for whoever wants to check a guess (or cheat):

Spoiler:

Sword Art Online: Infinity Moment

OR

Sword Art Online: Hallow Fragment

OR

Sword Art Online Re:Hallow Fragment

That looks way more low rent than I expcted for a Sword Art Online game. Iwas sure it was some mid-2000:s game from the first shot.

(Then again, a low rent adaptation is what it deserves.)

PSP and Vita were the lead platforms for the games, so...

That isn't Alan Wake is it? That flash bit is confusing me. I'm thinking it might be some sort of adventure game.

The first thing that popped into my head was a Silent Hill game, but the text bits are throwing me off too.

Silent Hill

It's Alan Wake. "Flash" is flashligh batteries. You have to shine a light on the words to turn them into real things and all that.

ICEY, I believe. Maybe the DLC for it?

Edit: Won't be at the computer for a bit. If I'm right:

The Void?

Not The Void.

I don't know what it is but the screenshots make me want to play it. It has to be a horror game of some kind, but I can't place it. My original thought was Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs, but google images failed to show anything like the screenshots.

Shutter Island!

.... the... game.

Not a Machine For Pigs either, no.

Metro 2033? It's been awhile, so I can't remember if it's the first or second.

Metro: Last Light. That must be Nazi prison in the second image.

Gravey's got it.

Is that the Telltale Borderlands game?

Nope.

You're gonna run out of screenshots, Gravey. I wouldn't be surprised if you're the only one on this forum that's played it.

Free is persuasive, but time's not free. You think it's worth playing?

(To be clear, I found the name using dishonest means.)

I find arguments like "Time is precious" to be a little contrived when people will watch all fifteen Marvel Cinematic Universe movies.

Yeah, it's worth playing. A little buggy, but free, shorter than an MCU movie, and engaging by being a game first and a lesson second. Worth it if you want to mostly do some light, competent puzzle solving on a sci-fi station, and, by the by, get a clear lesson on CPR.

On the other hand, watch enough sh*tty superhero movies, you start to value your time more.

I'll give it a look, thanks.

Whatever it is, it's got to be British.
