The Some Like It HOT TAKES thread

Final Fantasy 15 is Best Final Fantasy

Also, Arabic Numerals > Roman Numerals

Bioshock 2 is the best of the Bioshock games.

Not as hot, but still a take: Minerva's Den is the best story DLC ever released for any game.

Arguing over which BioShock game is the best is like asking a supremely successful person which of their useless sponge children they're the least disappointed with.

Arguing about Bioshock, Final Fantasy, and Jennifer Aniston? Sweet Christmas, you're a bunch of old farts.

I was making an analogy not long ago and I used an example of the TV show, Murder She Wrote.

Yeah, that went over well. They were all my same (old fart) age and even they called me out.

"Really? You're going with Murder She Wrote? That's your pull?"

LOL.

We can go older.

Baseball Stars and NES Play Action Football were so superior to the rest of the NES baseball and football games that it's absurd anyone talks reverently about any of the others.

TECMO Bowl. Come at me, bro.

I feel like I'm watching a countdown of VH1's Top Takes of the '80s.

A simpleton arcade game. A toy for children. NES Play Action Football was football.

Dodgeball or GTFO.

Joe Montana Football on the Genesis would like a word with all of you. Outside, by the flagpole, at 3pm.

That passing window there? That's the best passing system ever implemented in a game. Cycle through your valid receivers, when you see an open guy, you throw it. Hold for a bullet, tap to loft, and push in whatever direction you want to lead the receiver.

I mean, it's a horribly broken game in about every possible way, but the passing window was brilliant. It's also one of my favorite games ever, just because it was so fun to abuse the messed-up mechanics.

Well yes, it's football.

It's a two player game. I mean you could play it against the computer, but the time I won 105-3 was about the last time I played it that way.

(Computer AI coach: "why are they punting on first down? ooh it's a fake! we fall for that every time!")

HOT TAKE: Jennifer Aniston just isn't that cute/hot.

My preference would be that people refrain from doing HOT TAKES about the attractiveness of other people. HOT TAKES are better than that.

It was meant in jest.

My bad for not putting the in there to indicate. I will refrain from the thread.

Columbo > Matlock

I'm aware it was meant in jest. That doesn't change anything at all though.

To reiterate: my preference would be that people refrain from doing HOT TAKES about the attractiveness of other people. Thank you in advance for understanding.

Hot take: I'm the most attractive person.

Maybe, but your girlfriend still wants to bone a buffalo with a mullet.

Words hurt Clock, even if they're true.

Kissing a girl who likes mullets. Yuck.

False! Sticks and stones might break my bones, but words can never hurt me.

And thus, with one fell statement, he insults hockey groupies everywhere.

The video game industry is long overdue for an open world game set in the Murder She Wrote Universe.
