Forza Horizon 3 Goes Down Under

The Bucket List Challenges serve this function pretty well. I als thought I saw in the Blizzard Mountain expansion Blueprint capabilities for Bucket List Challenges. Is that in the main game, too?

Yes, it's in the main game and would probably serve this purpose. You can create races to any point on the map from the blueprint point.

But those don't have defined routes.

That'd be a problem. Might be food for outback races I guess.

I'm pretty sure you can set up a custom checkpoint race on the blueprints which defines a route.

I think I may be burned out on this, but boy did I have a ton of fun with it. I'm sure I'll be back.

If there is ever some type of weekly event the group does I'd probably be up for that, but I think I need a break. It was kinda consuming my day!

I'm going to try to check this but my kids are in my hair too much this morning. Try playing this with a 5 year old watching, it's like taking orders from a drill Sargent. Do that race, go back and get more stars on that jump, drive through that field, go get the dune buggy out of the garage, paint that car like a rainbow, etc...

Ha! My boy is exactly the same. My eldest daughter has her own car (Lamborghini Hurrican HE painted to look like Nyan cat) and my boy has his own car too (Lamborghini Centenario).

They like racing as well and crashing through the banana fields. Great way to get skill points too and they have a lot of fun in the process.

My daughter always likes to inform me that it's faster to ram into the AI opponents through the turns, which I find hilarious because it's true.

Side note, how ridiculous is it that they took out the ability to sort tunes and designs by downloads or star rating.

She a Deadmau5 fan?

Wow, that's the exact paint job. Funny, didn't think it was based off anything in real life. I did actually have some of Deadmau5 music on my groove music trial. :p

FYI, I'm still not getting the invites. I am looking under social -> messages -> clubs for the invites. From some research, there seems to age a weird bug where sometimes it won't send an invite to a friend. So, if someone has the power to send off an invite, could you try taking me out off you friends list first? I'm in the Operation Sports club now, but I would still prefer to get in with the GWJ club.

One thing I miss from FH2 is that when I would do something that triggers the notification showing my progress on roads discovery, boards smashed, and now photos taken, it would also flash the the number the person on my friends list has that I will pas next. It was kind of fun to feel like I was progressing, and in some instances, getting a tit for tat battle going with someone as we keep one upping each other. Now I just get my total.

Phil Spencer has an interesting Bucket List Blueprint that might help create those races people want. You had to get a certain destination, but you had to do so without racking up X number of destruction points, forcing you to keep to the roads.

I wonder if it won't let me send you an invite because you're in another club.

Phil Specter is one of the drivatars on my team and he drives like a prick. Constantly smashing into me when I am trying to pass. I have to wonder if he has other people play games for him since I often see a flurry of achievements pop for him in the activity feed. I have to think he can't have that much free time to play games.

I was having issues getting invites before I signed with another club. It's an open club, so it didn't require invites.

Phil Spencer is known to be a pretty huge Forza fanatic. I'm sure he is playing the game.

Oh, and don't add me to your team. I avoid contact in Forza proper, but in Horizon, I'm aggressive as hell, especially in any off-road races.

Problem is you can only invite friends to clubs. The invite option is only "Invite friends to club." That said, I've just sent you another invite. I've removed you as a friend as well. We'll see what happens.

Thanks. Something weird is going on, but I can't figure out what it is.

Still didn't get it, eh?

Let's friend up again and I'll try one more time.

Just doing a little search on the problem. I found this page that suggests you may not be receiving invites because your PC time isn't synced to the servers. Go to Time settings and make sure "Set time automatically" is turned on.

Playing on the XB1, and my time can only be set automatically.

Was hoping that might be a solution.

I wonder if any of the GWJers playing on XB1 and still following this thread might be able to try sending an invite?

I don't have club rights to do it.

I'll check to see if I can do it when I'm back home tonight. I don't think I do though.

Nope, can't add anyone.

Also, forzathon is up again this weekend. All 3 don't take too long to do. Only one that's super grindy is the Daredevil one in the truck. Kinda boring.

There's a free car, the Lykan Hypersport, to win. You have to complete a street race in a BMW i8 or M1 I think.

Where are you guys seeing this stuff? Is it in game, or somewhere online?

Never mind. It didn't immediately load with the game for some reason, but I see it in there now.

If you look at the achievements list, it was added to the bottom a few days ago.

Pulled this off Reddit so I'm a little unsure of its veracity.

I just want them to update the wheelspin prizes with the remaining HE cars. There's about 11 left that haven't been released and I really want them.

I unlocked the Lykan in my first street race with the M1. Bought it for 400k from the AH and sold it right back for the same. It has to be the M1, as opposed to the M 1 Series.

I tried it out mostly stock, aside from adding an adjustable rear wing, and its a very well composed, if a little slow compared to other hyper cars I've driven like the One:1 and the Aventador. Muchore enjoyable to drive though, even keeping the RWD drive train, as it stays very stable through corners.

I haven't messed with upgrades or tuning but out of the box it's probably not something you're going to be setting rivals times with. It is one of the more enjoyable cars to drive around in, though.

Highly recommend you unlock it, it only takes a few minutes to get an M1 (or i8 if you have the DLC) and complete any street race.
