D&D CATCH-ALL because Baron is dumb

I would certainly be interested. I have a FG license on steam, not sure what version, doubt it is the ultimate upgrade.

...and my axe!!

I bought a FG license ages ago, so I'm all set for shenanigans.

You don't need the upgraded version. What the Ultimate Edition (or whatever it is called) means is that as a DM, any player who joins my game gets, while in my game, access to all of the player-side stuff that I have.

I'm set for FG as well

@Manta173

Is there a time frame that you wanted to get yours up and running?

I was going to try roll20 as soon as Storm King's Thunder releases, but I have been traveling a lot the last couple weeks and haven't connected the dots. I also need to pick a scheduling website to help me with available times as it will not be the same night from week to week most likely.

What does everyone think? I don't want to poach mudbunny's regular game for my significantly less than regularly timed game but I do really want to play it.

I think it will be a competition for whose will be less than regularly timed. But if you are only available on thursdays as well, we can figure it out between the two of us.

To be honest I am probably least available Thursdays in general.

I am fine with this, as long as I have some notice beforehand, I can adjust my schedule to accommodate game time. I don't have any real standing engagements, except for Friday nights (generally reserved for Overwatch gaming with GWJers).

Looks like it releases on Roll20 September 6th.

Does anyone have a particular scheduling site they prefer? Otherwise I'll just google it.

Obsidian Portal is pretty good

Agreed, I find Obsidian Portal to be about the best out there. Roll20 only has the ability to set a schedule for when the next game will be.

Note to myself:
Karmajay is also interested in being in my campaign

Cross post from the Perdita thread.

Almost got enough for the Perdita Ice Cave adventure Sunday. My main issue is that I cannot downscale the adventure without losing the core of what I want to do, so we really need at least 4, ideally a few more as we have 2 lower level players I do not want to squash... too much...

So please sign up! I could probably handle 6 or 7 total.

So, Storm King's Thunder is here. I played the first 3 adventures today with my meetup.com group, and it was quite a bit of fun. I'm just wondering how closely it hews to the Neverwinter pc/console version, anybody played both?

So it released on roll20 several days early and I haven't started scheduling my games... damn them for making something available sooner!!!!

Ok, trying to set things up.

How many are still interested in my shifting schedule, but most likely Tues or Wednesday night from 8-10ish CST Storm King's Thunder game?

I found the scheduling website I was thinking of. It is Doodle. Those interested, go ahead and pick the days you are free.

If we don't hit 4 GWJ'ers I can ask some locals to fill in the ranks, but some are unreliable.

Let me know if you have questions either here or through a PM.

I'll have to be out. I work late alternating Tuesday and Wednesday nights.

In theory things could sync up...

Because life works that easily right?

I'm all in!

Kinda. Tuesdays & Wednesdays are my nights off, but on the 14th I have family commitments. Any other Tuesdays and Wednesdays I'll have no problems showing up, as well as most Mondays.

Both of those nights would work just fine for me. Count me in if there is an open spot.

We are open, just go click your preferred days on the above Doodle link. Ideally we'd need at least 4 but I can handle as many as 6 probably.

Done

Ok, I have 3 signed up (Mantid, Cartoonin, and Arkon). I'd love to grab one more. Doodle Poll

Also, I went to the local theater to watch the Acquisitions Inc. live play from PAX. They gave out a free level 5 adventure. I love that. Not only did I get to watch with an audience, but hey free stuff! Also, they have come a long way in their play style. It's nice to see them use very little straight combat these days.

I do wish they would do one at PAX South though... I need to get Perkins to autograph my handbook.

So would people prefer I make another thread for announcements and whatnot? I don't know that the amount of posts I make after getting started would be worth it, but maybe if everyone used it for their GWJ tabletop announcements it might be useful.

I am up for the new thread! It would be easier to keep up with, putting it in my favorites and we wouldn't have to cherry pick the conversation from others.

FYI to anyone planning on picking up Volo's Guide to Monsters, it's 40% off if you pre-order on Amazon

Speaking of which, I'm glad that, by all reports, they seem to be doing something new and different with Volo's. I'm not getting it (mostly because I have yet to actually play 5E, my tabletop playing has been way down recently ) but I'm encouraged by them thinking outside the box.
