The Hillary Email / Benghazi Catch-All

More power should equal more scrutiny, not less.

Agree entirely, and I wrote in agreement before you posted. I have no problem with investigations *until* they get to the point where they are just partisan in nature and a waste of money. Two or three investigations on the same topic; I could see that if there was doubt about their execution. But 7 investigations and 33 public hearings on Bengazi, all reaching the same end result? Serious waste of money and time, and obviously political in their origin.

At some point, we should stop wasting money and move on. And that point was several years ago.

Not even obviously, explicitly political in nature... that's likely why Paul Ryan is our Speaker for the House.

That is one craggy fake cowboy.

I believe that's actually Sam Elliott... One of the most famous and successful fake cowboys in American history.

Fake it til you make it?

And that's also what made his Parks & Rec character, Ron Dunn, so genius.

Sometimes you eat the bar, and sometimes the bar... well, he eats you.

That's, just, like, your opinion, man.

I do wish she had something better to say about this issue. While I don't think she was criminal it doesn't make her appear presidential at all.

FBI: Hillary Clinton Didn't Know 'C' in Emails Meant Classified

According to the report, Clinton claimed during her interview that she didn’t understand that emails marked with “C” meant that they were classified.

FBI Releases Hillary Clinton Email Report

Clinton repeatedly told the FBI she lacked recollection of key events. She said she "could not recall any briefing or training by State related to the retention of federal records or handling classified information," according to the FBI's notes of their July 2 interview with Clinton. Fallout from Clinton's use of a private email server continues to dog the Democratic presidential nominee's campaign, as her lead over her Republican counterpart Donald Trump has been cut in half since her post convention bounce last month, according to CNN's Poll of Polls released Thursday. Trump and other Republicans have stepped up their attacks connecting the emails to questions over whether Clinton gave preferential treatment to donors to her family's foundation. The bureau is making the information public in response to numerous Freedom of Information Act requests, including from CNN. "Today the FBI is releasing a summary of former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton's July 2, 2016 interview with the FBI concerning allegations that classified information was improperly stored or transmitted on a personal e-mail server she used during her tenure," the agency said in a statement. "We also are releasing a factual summary of the FBI's investigation into this matter."
