Loved it. Didn't take any cosplay photos but hoping to find some (including me as hank) online.

I liked the first episode! I can't wait to see where this goes.

I thought it was good as a setup episode, putting all the pieces into place after everything blew up on Gargantua 2 (literally!). I'm hoping it picks up a bit given we've only got seven more episodes before another long break.

I've finally caught up on this season so far and I'm impressed with how good it's been. The Monarch's been in a rut, but he's been revitalized this season without retreading a lot of old familiar ground.

Yeah, it just felt like half a season to me. I'm hoping we don't have to wait as long for the next bit.

It definitely was half a season. No one knows when it will continue?

I love this show but I can't figure out why it takes so long to produce new episodes.

Money and size of the writing staff.

I wasn't half a season. The last two seasons have only been eight episodes.

Oh, huh. I think we can all agree with bnpederson though, it did not feel like a full season.

I refuse to watch the trailers. I am so excited

I'm so glad the show is back!

Something I saw pointed out a few times: the last time the show aired, Dr Orpheus being a Dr. Strange riff counted as an obscure deep cut.

I'm rewatching the whole series because it's been a while.
Highschool me definitely missed the Tom of Finland burn in season 1.

This season really seems to be back to form. I laughed out loud several times during the last episode.

Jackson Publick announced on Twitter that Venture Bros. has been cancelled. 2020 is indeed the sh*ttiest year ever.

Hopefully, someone will give them a bucket of cash to make a close out mega-episode and it won't take th better part of a decade to make.

I honestly didn’t know it was still going.

That basically happened when Metalocalypse was cancelled but then AS wouldn’t cooperate.

I had no idea this was still going on.

I'm not shocked. It was eight seasons spread over 17 years. That is kind of ridiculous.

I'm hopeful that some streaming service will want to do something with it. $100,000,000 for the Snider cut? Some cash should be findable for this.

Adult Swim tweeted that they've "been working with Jackson and Doc to find another way to continue the Venture Bros. story". I've been assuming they've been trying to rework what's been written of season 8 into a Halloween/Christmas special for next year to wrap things up. I'm assuming that's why, even though they were apparently cancelled months ago, they didn't announce anything until Ken Plume let it slip.

No streaming service is going anywhere near them with the amount of production time they take. And, Jackson and Doc aren't going to start writing faster just because Hulu picks them up.

I think the last season I watched was 6, and it didn't feel worth the wait. I didn't even know thee was a season 7.

I enjoyed the show when I was introduced to it, but it definitely feels like its time has passed.

Have to disagree. The last season was great especially the teleporter episode. The halloween special was also good. The only problem I had with season 7 was it didn't have a ending.
