Post a video, present me a POV!

Tweaked the topic title and added a hero image.

Not a video but we don't have a political gif thread so I thought this would be better here than the picture thread.

An interesting point, but I'd argue that the neighborhoods destroyed and the growing class divides that resulted from inner city highways were much more due to institutional racism and classism that any lack of urban planning or involvement by GM and other car manufacturers.

Take 2016 urban planners, civil engineers, logistics experts, etc, drop them into 1940's and 1950's attitudes about race and I doubt they'd have any more problems with the plan than the original planners did.

I might throw in a dash of "they couldn't predict the future" as well, since they'd have to have expected the Civil Right's movements of the 60's to cause the white flight that was enabled by the highway system they created.

Yep. 90-94 on the south side of Chicago was intentionally placed to keep white Catholics separate from Bronzeville (heart of Black culture at the time).

John Fugelsang is a timely guest for Dave Rubin to have on since in the 2012 Republican primary he was interviewing Romney Communications Director Eric Fehrnstrom when Fehrnstrom made his Etch-a-sketch remark about simply resetting everything you said and pretending like your general election campaign is starting from a clean slate. This is something that the Republican party is struggling to do (again).

BREAKING: Trump Makes Women Uncomfortable

Still relevant today, and will be relevant going forward

Plant your flag, dude, who do you think is "spreading fear instead of righteousness"?

Now imagine Trump's answer to that question...

What Would It Take For Donald Trump To Lose Your Vote?

To recap for those that don't want to watch this...
1. Nothing. Literally nothing could make her lose his vote. (So... what are you voting for again?)
2. Be a socialist like Bernie or a criminal (how?) like Hillary. (Wow, that dude is super young... Sidenote, bro, if we're going back to the 50s, that earring/stud is going to need to come out, kay?)
3. Take my guns.
4. Punching a woman right in the face on national TV. (She's smiling while she says this and does a weird eyebrow flex. She kind of looks like she wants Donald to punch Hillary or something.)
5. Be a child molester. (Racist, misogynistic douchebag... totally fine, but child molester is apparently the line.)
6. Short of killing someone (pay attention Donald, shooting someone on 5th Avenue will apparently lose you at least ONE vote)... he doesn't know.
7. Ok, apparently murder is unacceptable if we ask if that's a problem... otherwise, apparently nothing.
1part2. What if he set the American flag on fire? That's apparently one of the American freedoms he stands for. Ummmm... ok, color me intrigued, conservative willing to be ok with flag burning if the dude she likes is doing it.
8. Apparently OK with crack smoking and having a Hitler mustache. Also OK with Japan and South Korea having nuclear weapons... sure, why not. Also OK with murder, so don't worry about losing 6 and 7, you'll keep 8. Misogynistic tattoo (forehead tattoo that says "sit here ladies")? Also OK!
9. OK with him having a swastika tattoo... wouldn't be surprised if that's true. (Seriously? WTF) But dude apparently has friends with that tattoo and they're cool, so who cares right?
1part3. (Seriously? With this lady again?) What if he punched the pope in the face? "I'm a Catholic, punch away!" (Ummm... I mean, I'm no theologian, but I feel like this should be somewhat problematic.)
