Ol' Georgey Z's having a bad week.

Florida's 5th District Court of Appeal torpedoed his appeal of his $5 million defamation suit against against NBC yesterday. No easy payday for the Z-man.

And then Twitter suspended his account today because he tweeted a series of nudes of his ex-girlfriend along with her telephone number and email address. The first tweet included the lovely message "This is Heather. She cheated on me with a dirty Muslim. [Phone number.] She'll sleep with anyone."

Not quite nude, thus no chance of him getting arrested, seeing as how Florida has some wonderful laws on the book to stop exactly that. Which he knew, and bragged about having averted. So, I guess, yay? He's entered a whole new level of scumbag.

No, I'm pretty sure he maxed out his scumbag level when he stalked and killed a teenager.

True, maybe a new branch of scumbaggery?

Exactly, it's like the talent tree of an RPG. He's maxed out one tree after maxing out another.

Zimmerman is auctioning the gun he used to shoot Trayvon Martin

Now that's just sick beyond belief.

I wonder if he is going to auction off the shotgun he used to threaten his girlfriend.

That is one of the most despicable things I have seen.

I posted a pretty lengthy rant about this in the Loathe thread.

Suffice it to say I am disgusted.

We were discussing this at work and came up with an idea: Start a gofundme to raise money to buy the gun, then donate it to the Smithsonian or some such with the intent of creating a display highlighting the negatives about it. Or some such.

(Of course, then he still gets the $$$, which sucks, but I would rather the gun not be in some place of honor.)

I am no fortuneteller, but if I had to guess his fate, it would be that he will meet a violent end and be mourned by no one.

I would never wish harm upon another person (yes, even this douche), but I would not be upset were anything to happen to him.

I'm not going to strike the match, but I wouldn't cross the street to piss on him if he were on fire.

Zimmerman is a disgusting, repugnant human being.

Though true, he is not worth the collection of bad karma that comes with harming another living thing. Standing idly by while harm comes to him, though, I don't think counts.

Not sure about that part. Spot on with the rest.

As I understand karma and the emphasis in Buddhism on compassion and recognizing the dignity and interconnectedness of all living things and especially the shared humanity experienced by all human beings, I think it might count.

Less knowledgeable about karma in Hinduism.

I hope a black man buys the gun, and he shows up in a hoodie to pick it up.

Given that it's not Zimmerman's only gun, based on his threatening an ex with a shotgun later... while the idea amuses me, probably not wise to do so.

Okay. In that case, I hope the buyer stands his ground.

Unfortunately. There is an emphasis on "all being" realizing the buddha way.

Wait, I didn't see this part before:

BBC wrote:

In an online posting to announce the auction, Mr Zimmerman said that he would use the profits to "fight" the Black Lives Matter movement and oppose Democrat Hillary's Clinton's presidential campaign.

So to fight the people who are against the gunning down of unarmed Black people... I can't even.

Yeah, that's the first I had seen of that quote. I never saw the actual auction text, but that seems like a statement that would have been more out there.

Edit: Ok, thanks to internet caching, I found the listing. I will spoiler, as it just pissed me off even more.

Spoiler:

Prospective bidders, I am honored and humbled to announce the sale of an American Firearm Icon. The firearm for sale is the firearm that was used to defend my life and end the brutal attack from Trayvon Martin on 2/26/2012. The gun is a Kel-Tec PF-9 9mm. It has recently been returned to me by the Department of Justice. The pistol currently has the case number written on it in silver permanent marker. Many have expressed interest in owning and displaying the firearm including The Smithsonian Museum in Washington D.C. This is a piece of American History. It has been featured in several publications and in current University text books. Offers to purchase the Firearm have been received; however, the offers were to use the gun in a fashion I did not feel comfortable with. The firearm is fully functional as the attempts by the Department of Justice on behalf of B. Hussein Obama to render the firearm inoperable were thwarted by my phenomenal Defense Attorney. I recognize the purchaser's ownership and right to do with the firearm as they wish. The purchaser is guaranteed validity and authenticity of the firearm. On this day, 5/11/2016 exactly one year after the shooting attempt to end my life by BLM sympathizer Matthew Apperson I am proud to announce that a portion of the proceeds will be used to: fight BLM violence against Law Enforcement officers, ensure the demise of Angela Correy's persecution career and Hillary Clinton's anti-firearm rhetoric. Now is your opportunity to own a piece of American History. Good Luck. Your friend, George M. Zimmerman ~Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum~

It looks like in addition to being murder Zimmerman is also a liar.

The Smithsonian has never expressed interest in collecting George Zimmerman’s firearm. The Smithsonian has no plans to ever collect or display this object in any of its museums.

Shocking, that. /s

According to Wonkette (not news, per se, but not prone to just making stuff up out of the air) the auction is no longer listed on the gunbroker site.

EDIT: whoops, I did not click through NathanialG's article from an actual news site.

The only good thing about Zimmerman is that he fills the role of the perfect anti-critic in my life. If someone likes or approves of him, it's a near-lock that I won't like them.

Wow, did he really just drop a B. Hussein Obama? Dude, get some fresh racism, yours is long in the tooth at this point.

For those latin-ly challenged... "Si Vis Pacem Para Bellum" is "If you want peace, prepare for war".

For those who needed a huge dose of irony...

So does that gun shoot crucifixes, or does it just shoot bullets in 3 directions

Ironic that he uses a silhouette of the rifle favored by communists and Islamic revolutionaries as a symbol of his Christian faith.

I dunno, it reminds me though of a notice that was posted on our public board at work that I had taken down for "Christian Warrior Training - How to use your faith as a weapon against unbelievers" with the bible cut into the shape of a glock. I spent like 5 minutes looking at it like, wow, you missed pretty much all of the main points, didn't you?
